You can only control 1 face-up "Eira, Queen of the Ice Barrier". This card cannot be destroyed by battle and cannot be targeted by the effect of an opponent's Effect Monster while you control another face-up "Ice Barrier" monster, except "Eira, Queen of the Ice Barrier". When you Normal Summon an "Ice Barrier" monster while this card is in face-up Attack Position, you can reveal cards on top of your Deck equal to the number of Tributes the Summon of that monster required +2. Add up to 1 "Ice Barrier" card revealed to your hand and Special Summon up to 1 "Ice Barrier" monsters revealed, then remove the remaining cards from play.

"Swarming" and "Ice Barrier" was never something that came together very well. Sure, Gantala and Grunard could do a little bit of this and that, and Medium and Magic Triangle provided some additional, yet also conditional Special Summoning, but in the end, they were just too slow to be worthy of their own deck. This should make them a little (just a little) faster, hopefully. It relies on a high density of "Ice Barrier" cards, just like the others, and can fill the hand with it's effect, if you're lucky (or a tactical genius... or have Big Eye). Either way, it's also a Spellcaster, unlike the Generals, and thus can easily be Special Summoned with, for example, Magical Dimension, and by being Level 8 it's a perfect target for Trade-In (you could later Special Summon it via Gantala's effect). And while we're talking about Gantala: More Normal Summons, hurray!

And that's all, constructive criticism is appreciated, as always ;)

So long,

Spoon

The img is excelent. And the name fits.
OCG seems solid.
The effect also looks very original. However I'm very worried about its ballance. I know that the Ice Barriers aren't known for swarming. However they are well know (at least imo) for Stalling. So getting another Ice Barrier monster on the field shouldn't be a problem.
That is quite enoying, however, then we get to the part where you can easily get a 2900 ATK card that can only be destroyed by Nukers and other unselecting effects and you can both draw/add cards AND swarm.

Honestly, with all the support options for this. I'd say its horribly OP. Try lowering its ATK and get rid of 1 effect (perhaps the add or the attack immumity).

A 7/10

You could be right about that, so I changed the stats, the conditions and the protection effect to be less effective, while still retaining those effects.
Have you been reading my fanfic Spoon?
As for the card, I like it but think it may still be slightly overpowered to draw and Special Summon at the same time.

But then again you're unlikely to be able to get both in one turn.

Pushing it maybe but good card.
No, I haven't, usually not into something like that, but if I feel like it, I'll check it out :)
Some wise guy once said: "Broken support for a bad archetype is balanced"... or something like that  That aside, I still think it's not that horribly overpowered, because it depends on a) A really high density of Ice Barrier monsters, B) luck and c) on it's own survival, which, granted, is pretty sure, at least for a turn or two, but to make really an impact, you have to provide constant support.

Much better. I'll change my rating to 8.2/10 now.
Thank you, come again :)

LOL @ SPOILERS

This is a killer engine right here, I mean it. It's got a lot of potential. You might consider limiting this card to 1 on the field at a time, although I suspect the card itself would become semi-limited so there's not a lot of call for it.

Ice Barriers aren't big in the meta 'round here for some reason, but this is a fun card. 9.5/10.

Yeah, one at a time is doable, will change that :)

*bump*
