Monsters: 10 A/D Changer x3 Giant Rat x3 Morphing Jar Needle Worm x2 Sangan Spells: 30 A feather of the Phoenix BoE x3 BoM x3 BoT x3 Card destruction Foolish burial Giant Trunade Hand Destruction x3 Into the Void x3 Magical Mallet x2 Magical Stone Excavation x2 Monster Reborn The Shallow Grave x3 Upstart Goblin x3 I'm wondering if Royal is worth it to counter solemns and those other random traps (dark bribe) or if it just clogs the deck. Lewk Posted February 15, 2011 Report Share Posted February 15, 2011 Get rid of the traps, its an otk and they'll mainly just fill your back row up anyway. Also, run 2 Needle. 3 is blocky. [/quote] I've managed to do a couple OTKs fine with 3 Decrees, they just become dead draws if I have 1 on the field already, since I don't like setting 2 on the field at once. Don't see the point in more mallets, monster reborn would be good tho... Tho if more people back you I won't have much of a choice but to follow your advice... Brandon Michael Geren Posted February 15, 2011 Report Share Posted February 15, 2011 Decree blows. To activate it, you have to end your turn which is stupid once you get going. Drawing it turn one would be decent, but would make it harder to draw your combos. Mallet would give you your combos. Third Needle Worm is terrible. The second can clog, but it can also be useful and makes it easier to win at times. Sangan is amazing and your lack of it is astounding. The Shallow Grave should be maxed so that it doesn't get negated by Solemn Warning. Almost all of the time, The Shallow Grave is your win condition. Monster Reborn is necessary for Debris matchups especially because you can use it when your opponent's monster zones are filled with the Fluff tokens from Dandylions that were milled. Finally, the 2nd Feather is okay but not entirely necessary. In summary, -1 Needle Worm +1 Sangan -2 Decree +1 The Shallow Grave +1 Monster Reborn Optional: -1 A Feather of the Phoenix +1 Magical Mallet Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
