One month later, it was exposed that they had both gotten AIDS. Ironic, no? Another kid who worked as a Library TA with me hid drugs in some of the reference books. Only way I found out was when I was told to move it, and I felt the book was lighter than last time. I opened it, took one look at what was in it, and ran to the nearest teacher I could find. Erm, no they don't, in most cases. I can't be bothered to look up what's legal and what isn't right now, more important stuff to do, but drugs are stupid. Tobacco is a drug, one and the same thing. Alcohol in excessive levels is the same. If you feel you [b]need[/b] to take something to make you feel more alive or happy, to lose all self control and to escape into your own little fantasy world, with no regard for your mind or body, or what you need to do to fund your habit, then you are frankly pathetic. [/quote] You sir, are an idiot. Alcohol and Tobacco are on a whole different level than Marijuana. Both Tobacco and Alcohol are highly addictive, cause cancer, kill hundreds of thousands of people every year and you can overdose on alcohol very easily. Marijuana, however is not addictive in the slightest, has never killed anyone in it's 5000 years of existence and you would have to smoke 15000 joints in 15 minutes to OD on it, which is irrelevant anyway, since you can OD on water. I don't drink or smoke cigarettes, but I smoke marijuana at least three times a week. I don't do it because I have a "habit" or to "escape into a fantasy world" as you said, but purely as a stimulant for creativity and fun. The fact that you and so many other people don't understand that marijuana is more a medicine than anything, is disturbing. You are frankly pathetic.
