A Divine Protector In Unicorn Form

Please take a moment to think about what this card actually does and how it would impact a game before commenting. I would much prefer well thought out comments and critique rather then a rating out of 10 with an obscure remark like, "looks good", "great card" or "could be better". :)

A couple of small examples:
-You can chain "Call of the Haunted" and select this card in response to your opponent's "Monster Reborn". "Call of the Haunted" will resolve first, then the effect of "Monster Reborn" will fail as it cannot affect any other card except "Divine Storm Unicorn".
-If a card like "Torrential Tribute" or "Dark Hole" is activated and "Divine Storm Unicorn" is on the field, it will only destroy "Divine Storm Unicorn".

Weaknesses of this card:
-It is difficult to protect, you cannot D.Prison attacking monsters, bottomless, solemn warning, etc.
-Your opponent (as well as you) can activate card effects that only affect themselves, i.e. Quillbolt Hedgehog can still be special summoned, Dark Armed Dragon can still be special summoned, etc.

Ok, it is a pretty powerful stun effect. I think however to keep it playable I wont up its level but rather lower its ATK. As it also locks down any of your cards (except those that affect it), it should be pretty easy to run over with most decks. I think an ATK of 1500 should be a big enough hit, that way you can still protect it with a rush recklessly or similar but if your opponent can get out a typical synchro or similar you are going to lose it.

EDIT
dropped ATK from 1900 -> 1500 that seems like a pretty fair ATK as most/all good decks have monsters (or will still be able to access monsters) that can run over 1500.

There's not much gay about Unicorns, really. They are merely generalized as a "feminine" fantastical creature.

But that's beside the point.

Correct OCG:

All other cards on the field are unaffected by Card Effects of other cards.

As it is now, I believe you could spice it up a bit with an additional handy (not too powerful, mind you) support ability, such as something that triggers when it is destroyed, as this card will make a desired target.

Perhaps:

All other cards on the field are unaffected by Card Effects of other cards. When this card is destroyed by battle, add 1 monster in your Graveyard to your hand.

is very different from:

The OCG you gave would mean, 2 Divine Mist Unicorn on the field will protect one another with their abilities. Also the OCG I gave means cards in the graveyard and hand are also unaffected by card effects, stopping cards like monster reborn, card destruction, etc. (this is one of the most powerful parts of this effect and it might need balancing) The OCG I have is largely derived from necrovalley and balanced out a little with the "except Divine Mist Unicorn" clause and the idea is largely inspired by metalsilver armor.

I think a small additional support ability might be nice, although I might run it in a theme of 'Mist' creatures that only affect themselves with their abilities. Thank you for the thought out and helpful response/critique, it has given me a few ideas and it is nice to see people actually critique things and give input as oppose to vague ratings.

Protip: Call it "Divine Mist" or some such, otherwise all of the Mist Valley creatures will qualify for your archetype and that could be...troublesome.

You need the extra thing or it won't affect others but also will and won't and will and won't and it'd freeze the game...

But yeah, it's a great card. It should definitely be a higher level though, considering it's effect potential.

Also, Kirins are pure win.

See Necrovalley; Cards in either player's Graveyard cannot be removed from play. Cards in either player's Graveyard cannot be affected by card effects, except for their own effects.
It technically contradicts itself.

I don't see why, if you look at a card like Fossil Dyna or Thunder King Rai-Oh they are both powerful disrupter cards that can be summoned without tribute. Protecting this monster is difficult, it can still be hit by Bottomless can easily be ran over, can get D.Prisoned/Sakuretsu Armored(If you attack with it), Mirror Forced, Torrential Tributed, etc. Even if you put a Mist Body on it, it can still be dealt with using most staple destruction cards or a Book of Moon. Furthermore you are unable to use cards to protect it other then ones that buff it (honest is probably 1 of the best cards to defend it from attacks with. While on the field your own mirror force, book of moon, d.prisons and bottomless become useless as the only card they can affect are your unicorn).
