Lion Heart Posted February 21, 2011 Report Share Posted February 21, 2011 Hi everyone, im introducing to you the archetype Lifestream from the Lifestream resurection Set, Its not complete yet but, if anybody gets the main idea and strategy of this particular archetype, then they can give me some ideas and i will be pleased to include them on the set. This monster cannot be special summon except by sending 2 or more "Lifestream" monster from your side of the field to your deck. When this card is special summon this way, you can destroy a number of cards on the field up to the number of cards sent this way. Increase the ATK of this card by 1000 for each card sent this way. Once per turn, you can select one face down card on your opponnent side of the field and destroy it. When this monster is destroy and sent to the graveyard, you can special summon a "Lifestream" monster from your hand, deck or graveyard. When this card its destroy, you can select a "Lifestream Aura" field spell card from your deck and put it on your hand. It cannot be activate it until your next standy phase. Near Rivers Posted February 21, 2011 Report Share Posted February 21, 2011 It seems like you really missed the purpous of Life Stream Dragon, whose effects grants every player with less than 2000 LP the points they need to brought back up to it, as well as reducing any effect damage you take to zero. (Though I've recently looked on yugioh.wikia and it looks like they changed the effect to bringing your LP up to 4000 instead, anyone wanna comment on this? I mean, I know they will change effects to be more balanced than on the show, but this seems a bit random.) I've reviewed the boss cards, which seems to be more focused on returning cards to the deck to temporarily boost themselves for battle. Based on that, it seems that you went in an entirely different direction for the Life Stream archetype than what may have been originally intended. I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm not comfortable calling them "Life Stream." Though to comment on the cards themselves, the ones that I read are good, and I would say that they are original. But for cards that you can pump their ATK by sending cards from your hand/field/graveyard back to your deck: Not okay. If you have, say 10 monsters in your graveyard, 3 on the field (this counting the one whose effect you're activating), and another 2 in your hand, that's 14,000 ATK in one turn. I would put a limit as to how many cards you can return to the deck wit heffects like this. (3 or 4, maybe for the key cards. 2 for the regular ones.) And as for ----stream Punishment, instead of being able to destroy 2 cards, I would change it to 1. You WANT to send these cards to your graveyard so you can use the above mention effect to pump your monsters, so it's a win-win scenario for you. My intention was to create a new archetype that is based on moving cards from field hand graveyard and deck..not only from anywhere to the deck. About the Asmadius's effect.. its HAND or FIELD or Graveyard.. and considering that most of the cards return cards from the graveyard to the deck, its unlikely to have more than 10 lifestream monsters on the graveyard. About punishment, yeah u are right. Keep readign the other cards and you will find out what i was telling you.. thx for the comment The name lifestream i chose that name based on the energy used in Fina fantasy advent childrens.. thats why xD and Lifestream because its a stream of monster that runs out the entire game.. that means: hand, graveyard, deck and field... i really cant imagine a different name xD PD: i did the changes...
