Reminds me of the SpellCasters.

Not bad... but not too good either. Spellcasters can be easily trumped, and so can these.

When I think of lasers, I think of stunning and obliteration. Instead of counters for all the cards, try cards that can prevent monsters from attacking, or negate their effects. And a few card desruction effects would be nice to the mix.
