Dark Force of Justice

Recommended Posts

Well, more than "support", it's actually intended to be a playable form of the Allies of Justice. Since currently, even assuming an optimal case scenario where all your opponents' monsters are Light, it's still not particularly efficient to use them. Only three monsters for now, but there will be more later.

=======

Ally of Justice Grave Diver
DARK / Machine / Tuner
Level 1
100/300
During your Standby Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard and you control an "Ally of Justice" monster, you can discard 1 card. If you do, all monsters in your opponent's Graveyard are also treated as LIGHT monsters until your next Standby Phase, and they cannot activate their effects. If your opponent controls a LIGHT monster, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If this card is Special Summoned by its own effect, return it to your Deck when it is removed from the field.

=======

Ally of Justice Chaos Revenant
DARK / Machine
Level 7
2700/2000
You can Special Summon this card from your hand by removing 1 LIGHT monster from your opponent's Graveyard, and 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard. Their total Levels must be equal to 7. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card from your hand to add 1 Level 4 or lower "Ally of Justice" monster from your Deck to your hand.

=======

Ally of Justice Torrential Darkness
DARK / Machine / Synchro
Level 12
4000/3900
1 Tuner monster + 1 non-Tuner "Ally of Justice" monster + 1 non-Tuner LIGHT monster your opponent controls
This card cannot be Synchro Summoned except from your Extra Deck, by sending the above Synchro Material Monsters from the field to the Graveyard. As long as there are 4 or more LIGHT monsters on your opponent's side of the field and Graveyard, this card is not affected by your opponent's Spell, Trap, or monster card effects, and when this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate card effects until the end of the Damage Step. During your Standby Phase, select and remove 1 LIGHT monster in your opponent's Graveyard from play. If you cannot, destroy this card.

Although I am not a big fan of those summoning conditions, I do like Torrential Darkness.

I like the way the removal facor could suddenly become a handicap if something goes wrong.

Chaos Revenant is still awkward to special summon, but worth it and the draw effect is balanced.

I kind of dislike Grave Diver though, with its effect active continuously while it's in the graveyard, it's kind of hard to do anything about, despite its misleadingly unthreatening look. I just... don't really like it personally.
