Spells and Traps... in the Extra Deck!

I'm creating a new set called Essentials Cards. Essentials are Spell and Trap Types that act as a sort of Spell/Trap form of Synchro & Fusion monsters. They are in your Extra Deck. Each Essential Card will have a requirement of at least 1 Spell/Trap and monster for activation listed above the effect, like Synchros and Fusions. To activate, you can send the listed Spell/Trap from either your hand or face-up/face-down on your side of the field and the listed monster face-up on your field to the Graveyard. They can be activated face-up (except traps), or set face-down. Their activation is known as Essential Activation. If set, their activation is also considered Essential Activation. Generally, all Essentials will have much more powerful effects than other Spell/Traps. Like Synchros and Fusions, when they return to Deck/hand, they return to Extra Deck. 1 Field Spell Card + 1 Level 4 EARTH monster
This card cannot be activated except by Essential Activation. During the turn this card is activated only, all monsters you control gain 1500 ATK and are unaffected by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn, you can discard 1 Plant-Type monster to Special Summon 1 Plant-Type monster from your Graveyard with the same Level as the discarded card. During your Standby Phase, select up to 1 removed from play Plant-Type monster. Return it to the Graveyard.[/spoiler]

1 Trap Card + 2 or more monsters who's total Levels equal 6
Negate the effect or Summoning of a monster and destroy it. During the End Phase of the turn you activated this card, you can remove from play this card in your Graveyard to Special Summon that monster in face-up Attack Position. That monster's effect is negated and it can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. If this face-down card is destroyed, you can add 1 Trap Card from your Deck to your hand.[/spoiler]

1 Spell Card + 1 Tuner + 1 non-Tuner DARK monster
The total Levels of the monsters used to activate this card by Essential Activate must equal exactly 7. Draw 2 cards. If this card was activated by Essential Activate and is in your Graveyard, you can return it to your Extra Deck to Special Summon 1 monster from your hand. Destroy it during the End Phase.

"Mirror Force" + LIGHT monster + 1 Synchro monster
This card cannot be activated except by Essential Activation. Activate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack. Negate the attack and destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls. You can Set this face-up card during either player's Battle Phase (If so, the activation of this card is treated as Essential Activation). Trap Cards can be activated the turn they are Set. When this card is destroyed, you can Set 1 Spell or Trap Card from your Graveyard. This card cannot be negated.

Rulings:
-This card cannot activate the turn it is Set, even with it's effect, unless another copy of this card is face-up on the field.
-If this card is destroyed and selected to be Set by it's own effect, it cannot be activated because it can only be activated by Essential Activation.

(KICKING MYSELF FOR NOT THINKING OF IT FIRST !!!)

i might make some of these myself if you are okay with it ?

my only segustion for this idea that all Essentials can only be activated by Essential Activation and all Essential Cards have that on the Card

i think it will make it more balanced .....

Well, they can only be activated by Essential Activation (unless there's a card that can activate them from the Graveyard) o.o
But this one specifically states it, others likely won't
And go ahead and make your own. Hell, send me pic and effect and I'll make it using this template!

This Card cannot be Activated except by Essential Activation. During the turn this Card is Activated only, you can Special Summon from your Graveyard as many lv 4 Monsters in Attack Positon as you can. During the End Phase Destory all Monsters Special Summon by the Effect of this Card.(you can only Essential Activate 1 "The Neverending Nerco Summoning" pur turn.)

^Ya, what he said. I won't make any Essential Monsters, but will make Archetype-specific Essential Cards. I'll also later on introduce upgraded versions of Spell/Trap Cards in Essential form.

At 12 posts, I'll post a 2nd Essential Card. This time, trap.

Nice idea! This is like the ultimate version of a Spell/Trap card, how about I suggest a rule, you can only have 3 Essential Spell or Trap cards in your Extra Deck and one copy since it seems like the Essential type is very powerful like a win condition type of card. Very original and creative. 10/10

It's not a Deck type. There are some cards that would benefit any Deck (i.e. Essential Staples like the 2nd card), and there are some that will only benefit specific Decks (the 1st one). Like how Synchros are splashable in any Deck, so are these. It creates major strategies and completely changes Decks.

Note: on 25 posts, will post 3rd card. And this one is just to die for! Get excited!
