i made this card for a contest

Once per turn if your opponent controls a level 8 or higher Synchro Monster and you control no monsters, you can pay 1000 Life Points to select 1 "Stardust Dragon" in your Graveyard, and Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position. If this face-up card is removed from the field, take 2500 damage.

is it UP'ed or OP'ed, i'm not sure, what is your opinion.

imo, given that this is more situational than some other stardust dragon support cards... starlight road would be a better choice than this card.. no offense :/

Starlight Road SS form the extra deck and requires 2 or more cards to be selected as destruction targets at the same time (hard to do since Heavy was banned) and thanks to the really messed-up Nomi/Semi-Nomi rule, you can only use its negation rule once.

Card needs the "If this card is removed from the field, destroy the selected monster. If the Selected monster is removed fromt he field, destroy this card" Clause, otherwise it could very well stay on the field, even if Stardust uses its effect.

Taking 2500 damage is a lot, but with a card of this caliber I think it fits. I don't use Stardust Dragon and its meta that much, but I have to tell you that if you summon Stardust Dragon early, that is a good thing! Nice concept and design for this card and I hope you win the contest that you enter this card in. BTW-where did you find the image? 10/10

the whole point of this card is so that you can skip waiting for stardust to return to the feild so you can use his effect multiple times, and so you can keep reviving him, if not no one would even look at this card.

@AsterikcAde, i've had this image for a while but i never had a good concept for a card, so i'm not sure where i got it

thank you for your opinions :)

Up'd, even without the 2500 damage. Any 8 star synchro would walk over this cards 2000 DEF. At least make it any position.

Now its unbalanced, maybe make it so you have to remove from play 1 other synchro in your Graveyard and when a card is destroyed while equipped to the trap destroy the trap. That way you could get around it with stardusts tribute effect but it would take time - it would give your opponent enough time to do something about it.

And with the Life Points, maybe 500 per standby phase and if you don't destroy the trap and all equipped.

Starlight is a side card. So is this.

Anyway, looks good actually. It does seem a bit situational however, try relaxing the conditions and remove the 2500 burn. Solid card though.
