DARKPLANT RISING
The Dissidents Hi there, I’m Darkplant, one of the main posters in the TCG Section. Normally I don’t come around here, mainly since most people here tend to mistake the real “power” of cards. Things no one will ever use will be sometimes classified “0/10” here because of being supposedly overpowered. Therefore I want you to look at the below before looking, unless you also go to locals and know what real Yugioh is.
Most cards I make, including the ones here, are made from the view of a localized duelist. I sometimes go to locals. I go several rounds too. I’ve taken many looks at the current metagame, and while most people here run terrible cards like Sakuretsu Armor I don’t. And in the tournaments duels rarely last 10 turns. Cards are in high dimensions that can’t be surpassed by most things here. As of myself, my sets are made to be “Localized”. A deck can actually run it in tournaments and win, though the power of the cards themselves range. Let’s say there’s a LV 6 Monster someone made here. “This card cannot be Special Summoned” is its only effect. Its ATK is 2700. Its DEF is 2700. Most people here would say it’s too high for its level, and it’s 2600 at best, otherwise it’s too strong. Hell no, this will never get used in locals. In a world where Legendary Six Samurais rule with the awesome power of “Gate” and ”Shi En”, no one will have the time to summon it. Several monsters are tribute summoned nowadays. Only things at the power level of Monarchs can be tribute summoned without being called noobish by your opponent in locals. And even now I’m not sure if my cards are localized.

-Dissident Monsters are summoned from your Extra Deck by sending cards from your hand to your Graveyard (this is treated as a cost.) The Level of the Dissident Summoned Monster is equal to the total Level of the discarded cards. The cards discarded by this effect are sent to the Graveyard face-down. -A Dissident Summon is a type of Special Summon. -In the turn in which you perform a Dissident Summon, you can perform 1 extra Normal Summon, and you can Normal Summon monsters with 1 less tribute than needed. In the case of Beast King Barbaros you can activate its effect with 2 tributes. However, cards like Arcana Force EX- The Dark Ruler still need 3 tributes, as it is a Special Summon. -Face-down cards in your Graveyard are NOT treated as belonging in any other group of cards in the Graveyard unless the effect so specifically designates face-down cards, or it affects all cards in the Graveyard. For instance, the upcoming card “D. Force Burst”, with 1 discard, allows you to add to your hand 1 face-down card in your Graveyard; in this case it also stands, as it specifically designates “face-down cards”. However, even if there are 3 DARK face-down Monsters in your Graveyard you cannot summon Dark Armed Dragon unless there are also 3 DARK face-up Monsters in your Graveyard. Also, Magical Stone Excavation cannot return to your hand a face-down Spell Card. And, in cases such as the effect of Rainbow Neos, face-down cards in your Graveyard are sent to your Deck or Extra Deck too, as it affects all cards in your Graveyard. -There must be at least two Attributes included in the cost. For instance, you can discard a DARK Monster and FIRE Monster to perform a Dissident Summon. It is possible to use 2 or more monsters of the same Attribute as its cost. Also, Spell/Trap Cards may be used as a cost, however their Level is treated as 0, and they are not treated as having Attributes; it can only be an advantage when you want to lessen the number of a cards in your hand, or you want to empower the Dissident Monsters, as their effects can be enhanced the number of face-down cards in your Graveyard. -So far all Dissident Monsters include the phrase “This card's summon cannot be negated, and no effects can be activated in response to the summoning of this card” in its effect.
