This is an RP that both Techi and myself created based on the series Kaze no Stigma.

[spoiler=Intro]Welcome to Shishidou Academy, home of mystery, mayhem, magic and murder. Based loosely on the unfinished series Kaze no Stigma written by Takahiro Yamato, this RP is meant primarily for beginning to mid level RPers. Skilled RPers are welcome of course.

Shishidou Academy is the home to many students that possess magical powers inherited by their families. While some are content with what they have, others seek out Yoma, demons with the power to enhance magical ability for the cost of your soul. This is the story of how Kai and his friends overcome the difficulties of a magical high school experience.[/spoiler]

2. All Advance Rules apply. If you do not know what those are, please read the posted RP Rules.
3. No Canon characters. IF we feel the need to include them, we will allow people to fill out apps for them, but for now there are no plans for any of the original characters.
4. Absolutely no flaming, trolling, spamming, godmodding, power playing, etc.
5. Stay on topic.
6. Whatever Techi and I say goes, unless we are overruled by a Mod.
7. Please restrict yourself to PG-13. That means nothing overly gory or suggestive. Also, please limit the language. Swearing is allowed, but only in minimal doses.
8. Techi and I reserve the right to update these rules as we see fit.

Any break in these rules will result in a case by case basis punishment. If you're flaming, expect to be temp banned from the RP. If you spam, expect a warning the first time.

Character Name: Kai
Gender: Male
Bio: While Kai grew up on his families large estate, he grew up around his family. He learned that he had a fear of almost everything, especially people getting harmed. But, due to this little fact, Kai got scared of everything, his parents just couldn't take it. The families constant mockerey of Kai grew to its peak one day. His father died in battle with a strong yoma and his mother died from a seisure. Kai couldn't take it anymore, his fears grew to their peak as well. His cousins didn't spare him to grieve for his parents. And they attacked him, but he didn't cry or run. When his uncle, the Head of the family, alarmed him that he would have to face against Yurika for the Spirit weapon that has been passed down for generations and for whom will take over as head of the family when his uncle passes away, Kai dissapeared. Through all of this, his family continued to mock him in his absence and shamed him for being a cry baby when the family's strongest morale was guts. Many years later, Kai returns to the city where is family resides. He attends the high-school Yurika attends.
Age:17
Appearence: Kai has spikey and short green hair as a kid, dying it dark red on his time away. His eyes are green and they turn Azure blue when he summons the wind spirits. He usually wears a blue jacket and a brown shirt with jeans, black socks, and black shoes. Kai works out when he has nothing else to do or he can't sleep, making him higher on the muscle scale than most of his peers. Kai wears an easy smile, at times of mild annoyance or simple boredum. But he frowns when he is angry, never giving much of a sad face.

Attribute: Wind
Personality: Before Kai left, he was seen as a pansy. He always decided to run from fights and hide under his bed. His cousins beat him up consistantly for this and he became an easy target. For being born into this proud and honorable family with such trait, Kai's life was a living hell. When Kai comes back he is seen to be much more calm and it takes alot to break his easy-set coolness. But, while he is more nuetral in most subjects, it is very difficult to see Kai's real smile or actually make him happy. Kai is sometimes interested in a little romance but more often interested in small jobs for money to support his no consistant work that is boring.
List of powers:
1.Wind manipulation: The abulity to control wind has been passed down Kai's family for a long time. This power of his has been strengthened over the time he has ran away from his family. Most of his attacks comes from his power to use wind at a weapon. This power is similer to other magic users who manipulate their element into attacks like fire balls or Air cutters. All Magic users are born with the abulity manipulate their element to their will, some stronger than others and this is trained to be stronger over time and use. Consistant over-use of elemental manipulation can cause extreme fatique and even death, but you are more likely to pass-out before any muscle or brain damage can occur.
2. Greater sensory magic: Through the use of wind magic, anyone can sense things to a greater extent. But Kai's wind magic is so strong that this becomes an unmatched skill in Kai's arsenal. Using this skill, Kai can accomplish many search (and destroy) missions with ease.
3.Wind spirits summoning/Wind Golem conjuration: Through his unpresedented talent at contacting wind spirits, Kai can summon them forth into his body to either unleash a devestating gaint wind attack or piece them together into a spirit beast named "Wind Golem". The Wind Golem is made of spirits pact together and conpact winds, so packed together these materials are, that the Wind Golem is actually a solid. It can move at great speeds and it is tall, when it hits something, it releases a mini tornado in its palm and throws the enemy into something more hazardous. To some extant, The wind Golem can think and fight on its own, even use Kai's Sensory magic for a short time and manipulate winds as it pleases[/spoiler]

Note: I will not be posting an app yet due to my administrative involvement, but I do plan on entering the story later. Along with maintaining the OoC, I will currently be controlling NPCs as needed and enforcing the rules.[/spoiler]

What? I spent too much time on this app for it to be useless. And I didn't see any water users in the show (granted I've only seen up to episode 10 so far) So I'm kinda guessing the way to use it

Age: 17

Appearance: Kurei has long, spikey, sea green hair. It has two large bangs/fringe things (more like two large unruly fringes) that frame his face and he more often gathers his hair together at the back in a ponytail. His eyes are a light blue-sea green mix that are like looking into a pair of deep, clear bottomless pool (oh how the girls long to get lost in them.) While not muscular or bulky, he is fit and has the body of a gymnast, which he is. He wears the crest of the Souma around his neck at all times. His clothes are quite fashionable and he favours long sleeved shirts and slacks over jeans. Overall, he is a bishounen and well aware of it (to the point of using mist to add the sparks or soap bubbles. Occasionally roses or other flowers.)

Personality: Kurei oozes with charm, charisma and likability, and carries a calming aura around him, even though his primary concern is his looks and his image. Most of his actions are based in that belief as well as his immense pride as he heir to the Souma clan. Though he is a popular and somewhat likeable guy; he can be, and will be vain and self-centered. While it is true that he is kind and helpful to others, his motives are always for self gain, whether it be just making him seem to nice guy or to gain a favour from someone. He is honourable, however, and loyal as well. Despite it all, his seemingly natural aura is partially an act, as he is much more sadistic and serious than he appears. His persona is like his attribute, firm and cold at times, fluid and easy-going, yet elusive and fleeting.

Bio: The Souma family are an old line of water manipulators how originated in china. They have, throughout history, helped the people, bringing water in droughts, lessening the power of storms that would otherwise flatten crops, providing healing to the sick, facilitating communication over vast distances. They were once praised and revered. However, their power dwindled somewhat as technology brought piped water, weather forecasting and better medicines. As a result, the Souma clan are working their way back towards what they once were, riding the hype of natural remedies to fuel and fund their rise. Despite this, they still hold the title as the strongest suijutsu clan. In spite of the difficulties, or perhaps because of them, the Souma still have their pride. As the current heir, Kurei epitomizes this. He has been trained from a young age in the basics of the Souma clans water manipulation and the most efficient way to use the spirits, so much so that it has become second nature to him. And his rank as the heir has also been drilled into him. Not in the light that he is to be treated any different than the other clan members, but in the fact that he in the one that will support the clan when his father passes the reins. And he does not intend to disappoint.
Home schooled for most of his life, Kurei focused his energies on learning not only how the spirits work, but how water works as well, in order to best represent the clan. This drive was the result of his loss to a branch family heir six years ago in a match. While he was still younger than his opponent and it wasn't an official match, it still affected him to the extend that he refuses to loses to another suijutsu user. He has trained with several of the better branch heads in order to increase his skills and abilities. Combined with his innovation, he is a formidable fighter.

List of powers:
-Water manipulation: His magic revolves around manipulation of water for various effects. In the tradition of his family, he develops his own unique skills developed from the basics. He incorporates the science and properties of water to form his style, such as cohesion, tension, light bending and pressure as well as using the explosive properties of hydrogen and the corrosive properties of oxygen. And he likes subtle, yet impressive things like walking on water (or mist) and standing on walls. Souma magic revolves around the triple point nature of water (referred to as the flow, solid and vapour points); its ability to exist in all three states of matter. Though he has been doing research into the four state. He more often mixes the three states in some way, like freezing with mist or hiding ice shards in water. He likes to draw down rain for his 'Dance on the Rain Drops' style, but rainy days don't come often and he needs a good deal of power and time to make it rain.
-Spirit Summoning: By gathering spirits and collecting them into a solid form, he can summon familiars. He uses the-three-who-are-one style of his family, representing the mitsu tomoe of his crest. Each spirit is a sea serpent-like Koi fish that controls water in either it's liquid, solid or gaseous state.[/spoiler]
