This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:
*Once per turn, you can discard a number of cards to put 1 Shield Counters on a number of monsters equal to the number of discarded cards (max. 1). If a monster with a Shield Counter would be sent to the Graveyard by your opponent's card, (by battle or effect) you can remove 1 Shield Counter instead.
