[spoiler='Prologue']Twenty-eight years after the events of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, a new, aspiring group of students arrive at Duel Academy. Blaze Yuki, son of Jaden Yuki, has recently joined the Academy. However, all is not right at the Academy. The Academy is being attacked by a mysterious force known only as "The Masks." Apparently, the Masks' main goal is to destroy the Academy, and all the students. Lately, there have been many disappearances at the Academy...

Few of the students dare to venture out at nighttime. The teachers are frightened as well. The principal himself has thought of enacting a rule that says no one is allowed outside at night. However, no one knows who or what the Masks are, nor where they come from. The only thing for certain is that they come out at night, and stalk the forests. No one who goes out at night has ever returned... Blaze, his best friend, James Truesdale, as well as his fellow students must stop the Masks and find out where the missing students are, before it is too late.

Sev. things wrong.
-GX spinoffs ALWAYS suck unless you're really, really good at storywriting, or you're doing it to troll on purpose. Fact.
-The idea of a kid for Jaden is just as lame as the way villians in Power Rangers get defeated.
-The Masks (lame name FTW) need a reason to attack Duel Academia. In 5D's, Yliaster attacks Neo Domino City because they want to rebuild the future. [s]Aporia has man-chests because that makes him look better.[/s] In Evangelion, Angels assault Tokyo-III because humans have become overdeveloped, and are reaching the throne of God. Unless you aren't going to make something like Moby Dick, some force of nature, the antagonist, you shouldn't make them attack because you want to make some random plot enemy.
-When Crab says you're bad at something, you should quit it for the rest of your life.
