Vough
A bit too situational, if you ask me. The only time this would be activated is if you only have 1 or 2 cards in your hand, plus root. And the monster drawing effect is nice, but still, it's like 18/35 from then on.

xzMasteRzx
I can say it useless, but it's not good either. You get to draw cards for a monster. Very situational and risky, but it's nice if it's used right. Score: 6.5/
:bcoe
Not really that situational or risky with the updated version. If you run Decks that are heavy on swarming your hand empty's quickly, you could activate it and have the revealed card at the beginning be a monster and discard that card if you don't draw a monster during you draw phase, its still a 2 for 2 Deck Thinning/Milling even at that. If you do draw a monster then you could keep it going for 3 turns and get a plus 3 out of it. Also if you combo it by setting cards like search spell cards, you could easily get around the negs. This would work well with six sams imo.
Vough
It's okay. I would only really activate it if I had it and 1 other monster in my hand, because dropping your hand for a hopeful draw isn't great. But it would still be used, mainly as a filler card, though.
