The idea for this spawned from "judedudemude's" Cosmic Monsters (http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/245241-let-the-cold-black-heart-of-my-dark-machine-engulf-you/), but it's not the same. Here are the rules. [list] [*]Synthic Monsters can be placed in the Extra Deck or in your regular Deck. They count as part of the 15-card limit if placed in your Extra Deck. [*]Synthic Monsters can be Normal and Special Summoned like any other Monster can, and have effects (however, they're not listed as Effect Monsters, kinda the way Tuner Monsters aren't listed as Effect Monsters) [*]Synthic Monsters, if they're in the Extra Deck, can be Synthic Summoned (I'll bet you TOTALLY didn't see that coming). Synthic Summoning involves removing from play some number of monsters with a given level. For example, Synthic Summoning "Catahau" requires removing from play 4 Level 4 monsters from your Graveyard. No substitutes on this. [*]Synthic Monsters always get an extra ability when they are Synthic Summoned (usually something good. As this monster is my first in a long time, its effect is probably trash). [*]When a card sends a Synthic Monster to the Deck or your hand, you get to pick whether you want to comply with that or send the Synthic Monster to your EXTRA DECK INSTEAD!!! CRAZY!!!!!! Yes, you can violate the 15-card maximum on your Extra Deck in the middle of the game this way. [/list] How does the concept sound? I hope you like it, because I do... and everything I like should be immediately considered awesome. In other news, here's my promo card for Synthic Monsters. It's going to have a partner... tomorrow, or the day after. It's kinda late for me, and I might get lazy tomorrow. But without further ado, here is "Catahau"!! If it is a level 4 Monster, can send it to the Graveyard. When this card is Synthic Summoned, it gains this effect: -- Increase the ATK of this monster by 600 for each "Lahau" you control.
