:bcoe Posted April 6, 2011 Report Share Posted April 6, 2011 GBMM's effect is way too overpowered, maybe at least add, this card loses 500 ATK for each Grand Counter. Did you design the characters yourself or did you use some base or template. What did you use to draw them. DMW effect is also OP'd, being able to activate a normal spell card 3 times per turn would lead to some insane loops and OTK's. I like the initial summon cost, the cost for the effect is a bit messy, and the effect itself is broken and also a bit messy, and you could do with lowering the ATK and DEF of both cards. [/quote] I designed everything, no references either. I hand-drew them both, scanned them and colored them in Photoshop CS5. The things I didn't make myself is the card template and the backgrounds along with the magical circle you see in both cards. ^^ Thanks for the feedback though! I did realize GBMM's effect might be OP'd but for DMW, which I have posted here before I had at least 3 people help me with fixing its effect to how it is now D"x I guess that's why it's so broken.. The pics are really impressive, her outfit is like a mixture of different sea-creatures, squid-like skirt, crab-like boot, hammerhead-like hat. Do you have a Deviant Art profile? Summon Exemplar, activate Instant Fusion for Kamionwizard, SS Night's End Sorcerer from Exemplar, boom.) isn't somehow broken. DMW, that kind of Spell Usage wins games, which was partially why DMoC was banned, because Dimension Fusion + Spell Economics = infinite Spell Loop. So I'm pretty sure it's effect should be toned down to: "Once per turn, you can pay 3000 Life Points to activate one Normal Spell card in your Graveyard and place 1 Spell Counter on this card." What monster cannot be summoned with all the required cards in their right places? DD""x Well what if I changed the level 5 or higher to exactly DMW? would that be more balanced? What if I made it an accel or double-tuning synchro too? Anyways, when you look at Red Nova dragon and Shooting star dragon, does this still come as overpowered? Against those two? The first is a moderately-easy-to-Summon Synchro, and it's good enough that you could build a Deck around it. Heck, by RAW, it can RFP your opponent's cards and then add THOSE to your hand! You get your pick of cards from either player's side of the field, or you can lay down 3400 points of LP damage. Since you're the one who controls the Summoning of this card, chances are high that you've also got stuff in your hand that you haven't laid down, and will be started with a solid defense while your opponent is at ground zero. The second one is also kind of easy to Summon (there's some Trap Card that Special Summons spellcasters with 2000 DEF or less, right? Use that and ANY Spell Card to pull this girl out). Then... well... think of "Advanced Ritual Art", "Allure of Darkness", "Card Destruction", "Dark Hole", "Foolish Burial", "Mind Control", "Monster Gate", "Monster Reborn", "One for One", "Reasoning", or "Reinforcement of the Army". All those Limited Normal Spell Cards, now useable 3 times [i]per turn[/i]. And I'm quite sure that there are an assortment of Unlimited cards that will go nuts with this combo. [/quote] Shooting Star Dragon and Red Nova don't have field clearing effects. Shooting Star and Red Nova don't return RFP cards to your hand which could let you create infinite loops at the cost of a single Battle Phase Shooting Star Dragon and Red Nova require ATLEAST 4 monsters to summon them. This one needs 2. Make it something like: 1 Spellcaster Synchro Monster + 1 Synchro Tuner + 1 Tuner Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
