Why would you give a -1 effect to a monster with only 100 ATK? If anything it should let your opponent draw while it's in defense, like D-Hero Defender. As it is, it'll never be in attack position anyways, especially if there's a chance at giving your opponent a free draw.

Your opponent can attack into it to inflict damage to themselves, either on purpose or while its set. With D-Hero, your opponent gets a guaranteed 1 card draw per turn, with this your opponent could get none or up to 5 if they swarm the field.

so giving your opponent hand advantage is a good thing and sending cards to the graveyard helps some, if not most decks
