Alex Kemper
{Just to let all of you know, I'm well aware that the version of one card is the anime one, but it made more sense to me to use it, anyway, read one true believers!} A big coin was flipped into the air, created by the holographic emitters. One side of the coin had Carl’s head while the other had Zach’s. It flipped once in the air and landed with Zach’s head face up. “All right, here I go.” Carl: 8000/5Zach: 8000/5 Zach picked up the top five cards of his Deck and then drew another while Carl was stuck with just five of them. “OK, first off I set two cards face-down on the field and now I Set one Monster in Defense Mode.” Three cards, two facing vertically while the other was horizontal and in a different row, appeared in front of Zach. “Your move, Carl.” “All righty then,” Carl said as he drew a new card and added it to his hand. He looked it over and picked one Monster from his collection. “I summon the Dragoon Knight[EARTH:4Stars:Warrior:1900/1200]in Attack Mode! Now attack that face-down Monster!” A human knight dressed in very decorative armor with a longsword appeared, standing still for a moment before charging at his obstacle. His sword struck the card and sliced it clean in half, Scarr, Scout of Dark World[DARK:2Stars:Fiend:500/500:Effect: When this card is destroyed as a result of battle and sent to the Graveyard, add 1 Level 4 or lower monster that includes "Dark World" in its card name from your Deck to your hand.]appearing for a brief second before disappearing from site. “Well, you destroyed my monster, but now I get to search one of my own now,” Zach said a little too arrogantly. He revealed it, Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World[DARK:4Star:Fiend:1600/1500:Effect: If this card is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard by a card effect, Special Summon this card to your side of the field.]and placed it in his hand. “I set three cards face-down and end my turn.” Three cards appeared behind his Knight as the turn became Zach’s. Carl: 8000/2Zach: 8000/4 “Good, good,” Zach said as he picked up a new card, “because now I play Card Destruction!”[Normal Spell: You and your opponent discard your entire hands and draw the same number of cards from your respective Decks that you discarded.] Zach tossed his four cards into the Graveyard and drew four new ones, while Carl only got to take two. Then Zach’s graveyard began to glow brightly. “Because some of my Monsters were discarded, their special effects activate! Come on guys and say hello!” Out from his Graveyard popped up Beiige and Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World[DARK:5Stars:Fiend:2300/1400:Effect: If this card is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard by a card effect, Special Summon it. If this card is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard by your opponent's card effect, you can select up to 2 cards your opponent controls and destroy them.]. “Now attack that Knight, Goldd!” Zach exclaimed as the Fiend ran at the Knight, but Carl had a small plan to stop him. “I activate Rush Recklessly![Quick-Play Spell: Target face-up monster gains 700 ATK until the end of this turn], giving my Monster seven hundred additional Attack Points, making him even stronger…” but Carl could boast no longer as Zach activated a Trap Card. “I use Magic Jammer![Counter Trap: Discard 1 card. Negate the activation of a Spell Card and destroy it.] By simply discarding one card from my hand, I can negate your Spell from happening!” Carl’s Spell Card exploded as the Jammer took hold, sending it away and his Monster still being attacked. “I’m not done yet, because now I activate Negate Attack[Counter Trap: Activate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack. Negate the attack of that 1 monster and end the Battle Phase.]stopping the attack in its tracks!” This time a force field appeared around the Knight, but then a multi-tool came out of nowhere and began to pick apart the card. “Seven Tools of the Bandit[ Pay 1000 Life Points. Negate the activation of a Trap Card and destroy it. ] will do nicely! Just have to lose one thousand of my Life Points to do it.” Zach said as the force field burst, Goldd still charging to the Knight. “I got one last trick, old buddy!” Carl exclaimed as one more card turned up. This time it was Draining Shield[Normal Trap: Negate the attack of 1 of your opponent's monsters and gain Life Points equal to its ATK.]and Zach was fresh out of card to use to stop it. “Not only is your attack negated, but I gain Life Points equal to its attack! Nifty, eh?” Carl replied sarcastically as his Life Point counter tipped just over ten thousand. “Well, I set one card on the field and end my turn.” A card appeared in the Spell/Trap Zone as the turn shifted again. Carl: 10300/2Zach: 7000/3 “Just one? Well here we go! Give me something good!” Carl drew the top card off his deck and gave a small smile. “This going to be a fun turn, I must say. I’ll begging by setting two cards face down and then activate Card of Sanctity![Normal Spell: Both players draw until they have six cards in their hands.] Next on the list is my face down Pot of Greed,[Draw 2 cards] followed by this card, Progenitor of the Bloodline!”[Normal Spell: Pay 2000 Life Points to Special Summon 1 “James Madison, The Progenitor” from your hand.] Another human appeared next to the Knight, this one wearing black pants, a white shirt and a black jacket with a fur collar. [James Madison, The Progenitor:LIGHT:8Stars:Warrior:1900/2000:Effect: If there is a face up card whose name contains "Wind Samot", this Monster gains 500 ATK Points. For each other Monster in your Graveyard whose name contains "Madison", this Monster gains 200 ATK points.] “Now, to let you know something, there are two other Madison’s in my Graveyard, so that’ll give James here four hundred more Attack.(2300/2000) I’m also going to give him this equipment card, Rising Phoenix!”[Equip Spell: This can only be equipped to a card whose name contains either "Madison" or "Josiah Prescott". The equipped Monster gains 400 ATK and DEF. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, return it to your hand.] (2700/2400) “But I’m still not done! I’m now going to summon Josiah Prescott LV3[EARTH:3Stars:Warrior:1200/1500:Effect:If this Monster was summoned through the effect of "Josiah Prescott LV1", search your Deck for 1 "Rising Phoenix" and equip it to him. At the end of the third turn after this Monster has been Summoned, sacrifice him and Special Summon "Wind Samot LV5" from your hand or Deck. Then shuffle your Deck.], but he won’t stay around for too long, as I’m going to play Level Up!”[Normal Spell: Send 1 face-up "LV" monster on your side of the field to the Graveyard. Special Summon a monster from your hand or Deck that is written in the card text of the sent monster, ignoring any and all Summoning conditions.] Zach’s jaw fell slightly agape as Carl kept activating card after card, stunned. “Since the only Monster in the card text is Wind Samot LV5, I get to summon him for free!”[LIGHT:5Stars:Warrior:1900/1500:Effect: If "Wind Samot LV5" was Summoned through "Josiah Prescott LV3", search your Deck for 1 "Heaven Murasame" and add it to your hand. When "Wind Samot LV5" deals 1000 Points of Direct Damage in one attack, sacrifice him. Search your Deck for "Wind Samot LV7" and summon him to the Field.] A warrior wearing all black with shoulder length white hair appeared next to the other two Monsters, and James became a bit more powerful with the new addition.(J:3200/2400) “Now, in good fashion, I’ll give a bit to Wind here in the form of the Hell Murasame[Equip Spell: This card only be equipped to a Monster whose name contains "Wind Samot". The equipped monster gains 1000 ATK Points and 500 DEF Points. Whenever a Monster whose name contains "Wind Samot" is summoned to the field and this card is in the Graveyard, equip it to that Monster.], giving him a nice attack bonus.(W: 2900/2000) I’m out of stuff to do for the moment, so let’s begin the onslaught, shall we? First to attack is Wind to Goldd.” Zach, finally able to do something, decided to activate his Trap Card, his own Draining Shield. It stopped the blade of the Hell Murasame as Zach’s Life Points went up to over nine thousand. I only stopped that attack, I’m still in for a beating, Zach thought bitterly as the next attack from James swooped in. Goldd was cut down, Zach losing eleven-hundred Life Points, his Life Points no longer over nine thousand. The Knight came in quick as well, chopping Beiige in half, but the loss was bearable of only three hundred. “Well, I’m done, you can have your fun if you want to.” Carl said, crossing his arms as he waited. You can't activate Draining Shield on that chain because it's only a normal trap, and can't be activated after a counter trap. Other than that, pretty good so far. But... I believe the forum rules say that you can't put up a different topic per chapter, so you might want to change that.
Alex Kemper
I posted the prolouge separte, the rest will be here, and I didn't screw up, I made a whole new chain for it, none of that was actually in response to what happened earlier, though i guess I should have put something in to show that. Whoops.
