Hmmm…It’s about 4 about months since I have created the Kingdom Hearts Fan-Fic, [i]The Last Report…[/i] Series. If anything, I think that fan-fiction was my most successful yet, as it had earned 573 views and has 19 comments. More than anything, I’m pretty sure that compared to everyone elses, it’s only an small and meager accomplishment. I know I’m still looked down by everyone else, who are more experienced by our fellow YCM members and Moderators. With that in mind, I would really appreciate everyone’s support on this. Because, I want to make something else besides stories. I want to make something using my own ideas. Ideas that I would like to call my own. I want to make something using my very own hands, and not have it called “Copied.”

With that in mind, anything that I create with my own hands. I want at least one person to enjoy it before I leave this earth.

Okay, before I really start, this is actually Commentary on my perspective of a group of fans from the Kingdom Hearts series, who had came together, and had decided to actually make their own series within Kingdom Hearts. It will list my opinions on certain events surrounding the progress of this. I really hope that everyone will come to enjoy this, as well as the future titles that we will come up with and if you guys ever have questions about this (off topic or not), I would love to answer them.

Ahhh Yes…if there is anyone who had read my past work, I’m sure they will be familiar with this. In terms of the same-name that is. More or less, the point of this fic, is to merely give an in-depth look at the things regarding REVERSED/[i]rewake[/i].

So to start off, I would like to say that Kingdom Hearts REVERSED/[i]rewake[/i] was actually an idea between me, Codename:Lady and Merciful Iliaster. Which is currently in role-play fourms. So you guys ever have time, and would want to interact with the characters themselves from the [i]Last Report...[/i] series, you are more than welcome to stop by the role-play forums.

Where the idea to start off Kingdom Hearts REVERSED/[i]rewake[/i] was actually started by me. Like, I know it sounds a bit cocky, but the idea came when Merciful Iliaster’s very own Kingdom Hearts role-play had died. It was when I had thought of a pretty cool story -line for the role-play, but unfortunately my computer was hit with a virus last year around this time. Seeing how the role-play was eventually going to die, I was actually by myself for about a month when I finally thought to myself “Hey! Let’s make another role-play!” So I decided to approach Codename:Laday (formally TheFinalFan and YRPOtaku169) and Merciful Iliaster (formally Merciful Idiot) about making another role-play.

Where the name comes from, was pretty simple from the start. Mercilful Iliaster’s original role-play, was called “Kingdom Hearts REVERSED.” So, seeing how I was M.I.’s role-play as a template, I wanted to pay an homage to his original work, and call this project “REVERSED/[i]rewake[/i].” To stat that this title was to rewake our passion for creating this piece of fan-fiction in the first place.

At the time, everyone was all hyped up about it giving their all. Unfortunately…We wasted 4 months of doing ABOSUETELY NOTHING!!!! You see, the first 4 months was when my computer was hit with a virus. So that took my family about 4 months to get rid of it, and when I checked out the forums again, YCM had literally changed, and as everyone knows, a lot of people, and I mean A LOT OF PEOPLE had lost many (if not all) of their messages that they had saved. So the new YCM deleted our drafts and other messages we had started. With that in mind, I had to start another message with M.I and Lady here.

Hearing this much, you would think everyone was happy enough to finally working on the project, just forget about the delay, and happily work with each other to bring the role-play much closer…

It didn’t happened. After the next 4 months passed by, we had finally launched “Kingdom Hearts: REVERSED/[i]rewake[/i]” on February 25, 2011 and I was expecting everyone (two people in fact. Don’t know why I’m exaggerating) to be happy that I finally posted the stupid thing. Instead. Everyone cursed me out, and just ticked me off instead.

You would figure…Let me re-phrase that; I had figured, and I repeat, I HAD FIGURED that during the course of 4 months of planning, the three of us had a very strong bond with each other, that we could tell each other that we had a cockroach in our room and we would just laugh at it. But what did I get? COMPLIANTS!!!! Hahahahaha. After going through our messages, I actually realized that we had spent 4 months of actually fighting with ourselves and bickered with each other, instead of actually planning the stupid thing!! We cursed, we moaned, and we hit each other during the planning.

I guess, when I was finally putting the final pieces of information down for the OoC Thread, I must’ve been tired. Because, when I finally posted the stupid OoC Thread, it was actually in the IC Thread!!! I don’t care who you are, or where you come from, but when I posted that thing, I was bone-fricking tired!!! Like, I had literally spent 4 hours on this computer chair, finding the character applications, rules, and other information such as the Forward I had written for it, that I just wanted it done. Because of that, I had completely forgot that I was posting the “IC Thread.”

It wasn’t untill Codename:Lady had pointed it out, and actually PM me, calling me something like “Twit.” Then, 5 minutes later, M.I. also posts in the IC Thread, and curses me out in Japanese. So, like I was completely baffled by that, and all I wanted to do, was just put a gun to my head, and pull the trigger. Obviously, I eventually posted it in the OoC Thread (on the same day, February 25th), it just came with a lot of tears filled with drama. Instead of tears of joy.

In short, it had took us 8 months altogether, and we had literally spent those 8 months fighting with each other instead actually planning it. So to make the process go faster, I enlisted The Swift Assaulter (TSA) in the planning team. He of course…Well let’s just say that he did something to ruin Birth by Sleep for me, and he is paying for it (and is also my personal messenger boy as well). But alas…If it weren’t for him, it may have been 10 months before this was released to you guys.

Ah man, am I glad that the role-play is taking a little break! Because it is given me some brief time to write this out. With that in mind, I think it is time to get to the next order of business.

Over the course of two days, I have made some pretty shocking discoveries;
[indent]1.) I have discovered an awesome pod cast among the fan-fic forums, where it is basically about 2 guys who just rant on about fan-fics. What makes them different from the others? They actually have the B***s to talk about it.[/indent]

[indent]2.) I have just realized that my rather good friend, is actually an girl. Like, during this entire time, she was passing off as a guy, and her reason for her gender change, was that during the course of a year that I’ve known her, her gender on YCM said she was “MALE,” and after “realizing” that she had hit the wrong button, she had just changed it. So I’m kinda weirded out by that, but for some apparent reason, I’m still calling her “Him.”
(ironically, before he…erm….she had told us her real gender, me and The Swift Assaulter had actually been making some pretty wise-cracks about her (mainly me). Mainly because a lot of people had made a lot of assumptions that “HE” was a “SHE” before her gender change (I was unaware of people making such claims, so I cannot count), my friend had told us that she had changed her gender to “FEMALE” (remember, she was once “MALE” on YCM). At first, I was only teasing her about it, but when I found out about her actual gender…It was a total low-blow for me, and I felt rather dumb making all those stupid jokes without really knowing.)[/indent]

In terms of the actual series itself, one of the members on the OoC Thread, Magnet Soldier, asked the question “Is there going to be a second?” Well, in other words, yes, there is going to be a sequel to “Kingdom Hearts: REVERSED/rewake.” However, without being killed by my staff members, I don’t think I can say much without them killing me (after all, this little thread is my own thread, and does not include the original planning team who brought you REVERSED/rewake). Are there going to be other titles? I’m kinda unsure about it myself, but it’s better to keep my fingers cross and hope I can find a great planning team next.

After reading Frybread002’s Director‘s Blog, I was not surprised to find out that his point of view was [I]exactly what I had thought it was[/I]. No matter, the point of this is to merely give an in-depth look at the things regarding REVERSED/[I]rewake[/I]. Now, on to my own report.

Everything, and I mean [I]everything[/I] started when I was curious where the name ‘Roxas’ came from. There was a member on this very forum called Phantom Roxas, who is now a mod, and then popped up a guy with just the username Roxas. I already knew about Kingdom Hearts, but not much. All I knew is that it had something to do with Disney.

I found [url=www.kingdomhearts.wikia.com]this site[/url] and there I read on Roxas, which then lead me to Nobodies and to Sora, and to Organization XIII and the other main members of the cast, and I was instantly hooked.

I learned about an upcoming game called ‘Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep’, and I read about ‘Unversed’. At that time, there wasn’t much information on them, and so I judged from the available scans that they were probably the darkness in objects. I created a roleplay called [url=http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/175153-kingdom-hearts-afterwar-started-accepting-via-pm/]Kingdom Hearts: Afterwar[/url], which Magnet Soldier, FinalFan, and The Swift Assaulter are probably familiar with.

That was what it said in a Short Note of Notice on the roleplay’s main page. It had a good start and it was active, but then the evil tyrant moderator of the Role-Play section who ruled with an iron fist and put on very strict rules, and whose name is taboo, locked it. He said that the owner should PM him for unlock age, and I did just that. . .but he didn’t unlock it. He didn’t answer.

I soon decided to remake it a few months later, in the form of [url=http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/190136-kingdom-hearts-reversed-advancedacceptingstartedyay/]Kingdom Hearts REVERSED[/url] but I made it much more simpler. For one thing, I didn’t include the Unversed. For another, the plot summary was shortened into four simple lines. And I also decided to let the members of the role-play decide its ending. It too had a good start, and I especially liked it because I had included Itachi from the Naruto series, although I’ve never done that again.

Another thing was that it was the birth of Xemanon, who I decided should be the main antagonist half-way through the role-play, and I had him attack the leader of the Organization. I then had him attack some other characters, with his blade Zathras shattering in the process. Unfortunately, the roleplay simply couldn’t have been as successful as Afterwar was, and it died.

REVERSED wasn’t the only thing born out of the ashes of Afterwar. It also inspired my first-ever finished (Though not successful) fanfic, Kingdom Hearts: Zarosis. Note that by this time, I had already played and finished Kingdom Hearts II and 358/2 Days, and I was pretty much a Kingdom Hearts pro.

Frybread002 soon sent me, FinalFan, and a member called Allesk a PM. Until then, I had disregarded him as just another eager member. And that was what he was. But he exceeded what I had thought of him at first. He wanted to discuss about something called Kingdom Hearts: REVERSED/rebirth. I didn’t take it seriously at first.

Before that PM, he had obviously sent some previous planning PMs. Just now, I remember that one of them involved Frybread telling me that he had done a lot of planning with FinalFan during REVERSED, and unfortunately, the load of text he had given to me for me to read so I could find out what they had planned was too much, and I scrapped it without so much as a second thought.

I had expected the REVERSED/rebirth planning Private Conversation to die off quickly, but it persisted for six months, but very little actually got off the ground. I remember Frybread saying something about getting white hair due to us. Allesk didn’t participate at all until its near-death. It started with Frybread and FinalFan engaging in very long planning posts, and I stood there helpless to their walls of text which were less appealing than an Arabic dictionary.

Their long posts soon ceased to be for a while, and the FinalFan didn’t make much more long posts after that, but Frybread did something miraculous. He managed to put up lots of long posts, even when there was barely any subject to talk about. Frybread getting white hair is his own fault. Later on, for a while, the conversation somehow turned into one where we would talk about our day or something.

Then the Swift Assaulter came. To tell the truth, I still can’t quite remember how he came to join the team, but he came up with some ideas which Frybread considered very ‘useful’, though I didn’t get much of it. Even so, after six to eight months, I decided it was enough and brought up the subject of [I]putting it up already[/I], FinalFan adapted it as well, and then Frybread created a prototype just to see how it would end up. It’s ending up fine, although he at first accidentally posted it in the wrong section, FinalFan got mad at him, and I thought it was funny, so I joined in.

Either way, the Private Conversation we had deserves to be in the YCM Hall of Fame, because it was the longest-running (6-8 Months) and the longest (24 pages) Private Conversation. It kind of makes me feel all fuzzy inside. Allesk joined in at the last second. . .but he‘s gone again. Wonder where he is.

Okay, after browsing through past messages again, re-reading the entire role-play, and pages on the OoC Thread, I think it’s about time I have personally acknowledged everyone. Like, I know said this was only to express my mere opinions, after my good friend, The Swift Assaulter reminded me of what I had had actually did said, “We’re in this together” , he was right. I remember saying that when Codename:Lady saying she was going to quit and so everyone was taken off guard. For me personally, I was especially enraged, because most of my ideas that I had come up with, had regarded around her characters. Not only that, I also remembering that I had made 5 days of her life a living hell on YCM, because I had convinced her that she had “killed” my character.

The only reason I done that, was because one of the major problems I’ve personally seen with Codename: Lady and her characters, was that she couldn’t adapt. For example, if things didn’t go her way, then she would mad. Personally, I was kinda annoyed at that, so I decided to completely ignore the main role-play “Kingdom Hearts: REVERSED/rewake” so I can prove my point of view towards her. Just by reading this, I can already tell I sound like…well an “ass.” For five days, I kept playing the “victim” and kept telling Lady that she was the “badguy.” For a friend, it’s probably safe to say that I’m worse as they come. So any rants towards me is welcome, but I knew simply saying “Hey Lady, could you be more flexible with your characters?” would’ve simply suffice. However, I personally felt a bit mad because I, myself had personally felt like Lady did kill my character. But spending a day on the subject, I came to the conclusion “Hey! Why not have someone just bring him back to life?” But again, I personally felt like “telling her wouldn’t just suffice.” With that in mind, I tried to get her to look at it from my perspective. Whether or not she did, I will never know, but I was fully aware of what would come next…

So, seeing she was at the breaking point of my complaints, Lady said that she was going to quit the role-play. This was around the same time that I was about to tell what I was really doing. But when read that post, I’d just flipped. You remember when I said her biggest problem was not being flexible with her characters? Well, another biggest problem I’d personally had with her was that she never thought of ahead of what will happened. Personally, I fell shitty just talking about her like that, but I just really wanna get this off my chest and resolve it was soon as possible. Because I still feel like trash every time I think about it. Only because I was the one making a big deal out of it.

On the OoC Thread, everyone kept asking her why she was going to quit and she told us her reasons. In rage, I’d just basically said

Like, when I wrote that, I was mad at Lady for just giving up halfway. I mean, I’d personally had most of my ideas revolve around her characters and for her to give up after his far just made me mad. I’d been just too furious, that I’d started everyone to join me and spam her to not give up. Even if she’d warn us to a MOD and get us in trouble, I was not going to let her quit on my watch.

I will be honest with anyone who is reading this blog/chapter, this one will probably be one of the shortest chapters I may ever write, but I will admit, I am rather shocked to see so many Kingdom Hearts related role-plays. Like, when Codename:Lady, Merciful Iliaster, and The Swift Assaulter started planning this a year ago, there was literally no KH role-plays on the Role-Play and Fan-Fic Forums and stayed like that for a whole 10 months!! Then I’d seen about one or two KH Thread in the forums (both fan-fic and role-play threads) and personally paid them a visit. I don’t mean to sound cocky or ignorant, but the reason I visited their threads, was so I could see how they did their role-plays, Which is probably true for every thread I post, which is checking out threads that have a similar subject and get some kind of idea on how they do theirs.

Currently, I think we are currently in our third month of Kingdom Hearts REVERSED/rewake and I am rather proud of how people did contribute to it so I must thank:

- Merciful Iliaster for letting me use the original idea and plot of his original REVERSED role-play.
- Codename:Lady for literally having patience with me and listening to the ideas I propose.
- The Swift Assaulter for helping us in the middle of planning and by also giving us guidance and an actual sense of direction for the series (without him stating his mind, I believe it would’ve been another simple KH role-play with the same old plot and villians).
-Chaos Sonic for showing promise, enthuasim (---however the heck you spell that word) and dedication. He was one the few people who really show spirit and encouraged me to keep going on.
-Magnet Soldier because he posted the very first application and is literally willing to dedicate his time to helping us (the guys who created REVERSED/rewake) with the story and future plots and so I know I can count on him in the future.
-Christian Exodia as well, his role may be littler to minimal, but he probably deserves to be thankful for, when compared to everyone else. I don’t meant to give more credit to everyone else and put one person down, but Christian Exodia is one of those people who are the pillars who support the foundation of a great statue and must not go unrecognized.

In all, I personally would like to work with everyone I listed in the future titles of the REVERSED series.

Hahahaha!!! Yeah, I find it quite odd and wierd, but I found it that writting down my point of views of this, is actually fun. Like, I just find it rather ironic about typing down my personal opinions about the odd stuff we've been through. So I just want to express my ideas through here. More than anything though, I really want to interact with as many people through here, and answer questions I can't probably can't answer through the OoC Thread.

True, true, Magnet, but I've been waiting for personal commentary on what had happened during the planning, and when I read the first episode...

I was a bit pissed. This was because I was mentioned at the last minute. Frybread, you said we're all in this together, so I should've been mentioned more by telling them the different ideas I came up with. I'm not being rude in all, but when I get mentioned in commentary, I should be mentioned equally with the others, even though I joined in the middle of the planning. Did you have any extra thoughts about me when you were typing Chapter 1, but didn't think about putting it in at all?

BTW, you HAD to mention that I mistakenly said Lady was a "SHE". I'm still trying to forget about it, and then YOU had to bring it up. Thanks a lot, "pal". Now I know Lady still hates me for it.

Hahahahaha!!! You are credited my friend. I made sure of it during the Foward of REVERSED/[i]rewake[/i].

In this one, I'm just expressing my personal opinions. I'm not trying to thank everyon here. This is just to express my opinions and ideas through here, without them being official. Hopefully that makes sense.

It too had a good start, and I especially liked it because I had included Itachi from the Naruto series, although I’ve never done that again.

Another thing was that it was the birth of Xemanon, who I decided should be the main antagonist half-way through the role-play, and I had him attack the leader of the Organization. I then had him attack some other characters, with his blade Zathras shattering in the process. Unfortunately, the roleplay simply couldn’t have been as successful as Afterwar was, and it died.

REVERSED wasn’t the only thing born out of the ashes of Afterwar. It also inspired my first-ever finished (Though not successful) fanfic, Kingdom Hearts: Zarosis. Note that by this time, I had already played and finished Kingdom Hearts II and 358/2 Days, and I was pretty much a Kingdom Hearts pro.

Frybread002 soon sent me, FinalFan, and a member called Allesk a PM. Until then, I had disregarded him as just another eager member. And that was what he was. But he exceeded what I had thought of him at first. He wanted to discuss about something called Kingdom Hearts: REVERSED/rebirth. I didn’t take it seriously at first.

Before that PM, he had obviously sent some previous planning PMs. Just now, I remember that one of them involved Frybread telling me that he had done a lot of planning with FinalFan during REVERSED, and unfortunately, the load of text he had given to me for me to read so I could find out what they had planned was too much, and I scrapped it without so much as a second thought.

I had expected the REVERSED/rebirth planning Private Conversation to die off quickly, but it persisted for six months, but very little actually got off the ground. I remember Frybread saying something about getting white hair due to us. Allesk didn’t participate at all until its near-death. It started with Frybread and FinalFan engaging in very long planning posts, and I stood there helpless to their walls of text which were less appealing than an Arabic dictionary.

Their long posts soon ceased to be for a while, and the FinalFan didn’t make much more long posts after that, but Frybread did something miraculous. He managed to put up lots of long posts, even when there was barely any subject to talk about. Frybread getting white hair is his own fault. Later on, for a while, the conversation somehow turned into one where we would talk about our day or something.

Then the Swift Assaulter came. To tell the truth, I still can’t quite remember how he came to join the team, but he came up with some ideas which Frybread considered very ‘useful’, though I didn’t get much of it. Even so, after six to eight months, I decided it was enough and brought up the subject of [I]putting it up already[/I], FinalFan adapted it as well, and then Frybread created a prototype just to see how it would end up. It’s ending up fine, although he at first accidentally posted it in the wrong section, FinalFan got mad at him, and I thought it was funny, so I joined in.

Either way, the Private Conversation we had deserves to be in the YCM Hall of Fame, because it was the longest-running (6-8 Months) and the longest (24 pages) Private Conversation. It kind of makes me feel all fuzzy inside. Allesk joined in at the last second. . .but he‘s gone again. Wonder where he is.

Hahahahahaha!! Suprisingly, it is true that I was the main person who gave myselfl white hairs (only because I was the only one was really doing anything during the planning, which was why I brought in TSA. Because he was actually RESPONDING!!! Hahahahaha!

As for your question TSA...

Well, I still would've made fun of Lady's gender regardless, so I'm not complaining.

As for Birth by Sleep...Yeah, again man, every time you are mentioning it...it's bringing up memories. Like, it's been so long since you spoiled it, that I'm starting to forget what was spoiled, and it's actually taking me like 5 seconds to remember now. But everytime you or somebody else brings it up, it's only making it worse. On the other hand, I will not forget it because you still are under my punishment until you finish it. Lady himself (I'd perfer calling her a guy) went under my scorn, and he knows how angry I can really get. Even if I'm not scolding or raising my voice.

How you want to look at it, it's up to you. But for me, I only ended up wasting 45 bucks on a game, then find out the same evening, the ending is spoiled. With that in mind, get your punishment over with, then I can forgive you man.
