Guest ♥ D.A._ϯɨå Håʀʀɨbel ♥
It ultimately is good or bad to said person. I don't particularly like how some Christians portray it. This being the ones that bash gays. However, everyone has a different view on it.

Guest Icyblue
The problem is the extremists, who are even laughed at amongst their own peers. I don't see a problem with Christianity as a belief. @Starrk: The problem is the people who generalize one group of a single faith, as part of the whole faith. Your ignorance helps none. .Corgi
Satanism is a part of Christianity that is interesting according to me. If it would'nt have sacrifices and things like that, I would be a satanist... Or maby not. I prefer being a total Atheist. I don't like Christianity because it acctually made pepole kill very skilled scientists "in the name of God". That's why the anti-church group Illuminati was formed. They fought against the church with knowledge and logic. Then the church spread lies about that Illuminati was satanistic and killed pepole. That's not true. Illuminati was said to bring Lucifer to earth, and many took it as they would summon the demon Lucifer. Acctually, Lucifer is Light in latin, so Illuminati was'nt evil at all. And then the Witchhammer. The biggest woman slaughter in history. Guess who wrote the book that started it? A priest. Sure, things like priests killing scientists don't really exist any longer, but I don't think I ever can forgive Christianity for preventing humanity to evole in almost 500 years. We could live in a future city with hoovering cars by now if it was'nt for Christianity!

We could live in a future city with hoovering cars by now if it was'nt for Christianity! Is Christianity to blame for your grammar too? No, it's not to blame for lack of human evolution. Lack of human evolution is because of ignorance and false prophets. The witch hunt started because of a couple of fool hearty extremists under a single faith thought they knew the written word for all, and took matters into their own hands. Yes, they were Christian, but the faith has only a fraction to do with the person's actions. I could say I was involved with the attacks of 9/11. The first religion I would be associated with would be Muslims. Why? Because someone of my faith made an irrational and unforgivable mistake. The first religion I would be associated with would be Muslims. Why? Because someone of my faith made an irrational and unforgivable mistake. You're a Muslim, or a Christian? I'm confused by that statement. 3: "Christians" who bash and condemn other people because of what ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation they are, do not actually practice what the Bible says, they misinterpret because they want to spread hate. They either don't know how stupid they're being or they're hating on purpose. The Bible teaches to accept, not to attack. Now, as for me actually believing in it, that's a different story. I don't know the point I'm at yet. I guess I'm more agnostic than anything. Still, I've been a frequent church goer for most of my life, I won't stop now. I don't accept many ideals, though. Sure, things like priests killing scientists don't really exist any longer, but I don't think I ever can forgive Christianity for preventing humanity to evole in almost 500 years. We could live in a future city with hoovering cars by now if it was'nt for Christianity! You could start by looking up the Roman Lucifer, the morning star, who was portrayed as anything but "evil". Figures, deities and whatnot from one religion were often used by another and sometimes their meaning was reversed, like the devil being portrayed very much like the horned gods in Christian iconography. And that image is still very present, but I'm not sure if there was ever anything devillish about Pan. Thing is, there's nothing like "Christianity" and if "it" is good or bad. Because "it" consists of many people who I'm pretty sure don't believe into exactly the same stuff so "it" isn't primarily characterized by making people kill very intelligent scientists in the name of their god. Even within Christians, there were/are many movements going against the big churches or completely dissociating themselves from them. So it can't be pinned down to a small group of bad guys, just like you can't pull all Atheists into a big box and say that they're all IDK-what. Oh and on a sidenote, I'm not sure if I'd enjoy your futuristic city with hoovering cars...
