Grand Monsters

I thought of a new idea for a Monster Type. They are called "Grand Monsters". Here's some info about them:

Grand Monsters are Red Colored and require at least 1 sacrifice, though they may need 2 or even 3. Their sacrifice requirements are various.

_______Examples_______

1 Lv 7 Synchro Monster + 1 Trap Card

1 Lv 4 or higher Effect Monster + 1 Lv 4 Normal Monster

1 Lv 6 or higher Fusion Monster

1 Lv 4 or higher Monster + 2 Spell Cards
________________________

Even if you have the proper tributes, they can only be Summoned when varying conditions have been met. Like if your Life Points are lower than 3000 or you have more than 15 cards in your Graveyard.

Grand Monsters are usually very powerful and very hard to summon. I have only made 1 so far but I might add more. Rates and Comments on the idea and card are very much appreciated.

1 Lv 5 or higher WATER monster + 1 Spell Card
This card can only be Grand Summoned by tributing the listed Grand Material Monsters while your Life Points are less than 3000. This card's Summon cannot be negated. Once per turn, if this card were to be destroyed, you can discard 2 cards to negate the destruction of this card. You can remove 2 face-up cards you control from play during your Main Phase to give this card an additional attack this turn.

1 Lv 5 or higher Fusion Monster
This card can only be Grand Summoned by tributing the listed Grand Material Monsters while you control less than 4 face-up cards. This card's Summon cannot be negated. All damage inflicted by this card is doubled. Once per turn, you can send the top or bottom card on your Deck to the Graveyard to toss a coin. If the result is Heads, you can add 1 Even Leveled monster from your Graveyard to your hand. If the result is Tails, you can add 1 Odd Leveled monster from your Graveyard to your hand.

1 Lv 7 or higher Effect monster + 1 Trap Card
This card can only be Grand Summoned by tributing the listed Grand Material Monsters while there are at least 4 face-up Attack Position monsters on the field. This card's Summon cannot be negated. Once per turn, you can remove up to 3 cards on the top of your Deck from play to destroy cards your opponent controls equal to the number of cards removed. When a monster is removed from play, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the monster's Level x100.

The card to be honest, is not worth it. I mean, imagining finally being able to use this card's main effect for an additional attack after you finally went under 2000 Life Points, got a Level 5 on the field, and a Spell Card, plus 2 more face-up ones, but then to see something like Dimensional Prison or Mirror Force just pop out. If your going to make the requirements / costs really well, harsh, make the effect just as harsh. For example, make it so it's attack cannot be negated / this card cannot be destroyed during the Battle Phase, or maybe even something like it can attack again directly. Because for now, I can't see this being played.

i have a question for Lieutenant Renji, how do you edit you're cards like that. My friend did it once but never said how

OCG-7.9 some mistakes
Card originality-9.9/10 two atk's has happened before
Looks-9.5/10 not much to say
Overall-27.3/30 very good just fix some ocg and its perfect.

@Shooting Star Dragon: Thanks, there should be more soon. :)

@Anbu-of-Sand: Yeah, I was going to add another effect but I figured that might make it OP'd. I see your point, I'll add some more effects to balance it out.

@Dr.FeelGood: Thanks for the rate.

To Recolor a card you need GIMP. Try and find a card recoloring tut or you can go to a shop and they'll do it for you.

It's still a bit underpowered. Perhaps make it if it were removed from the field, you can discard a card instead? Makes it more simple, but more protective. And majority of Decks don't run Spells / Traps in particular that stay face-up on the field, so maybe just make that two face-up cards? That could be a start to make the card more balanced / possibly give it the overpowered effect it rightfully deserves which such hard requirements / costs. Also, perhaps bump the Life Point condition to 3000-4000?

I think that adding all of that would make it OP'd. A person with a good Water based Deck could get a Lv 5 WATER monster out within maybe a few turns, a Spell Card is simple to get out so all he has to do is wait for his Life Points to lower some and he can Summon a 3100 ATK monster with several good effects. I'll bump up the Life Points to 3000 but I think that any more positive effect would make it a bit OP'd.

Also, just a quick question. How many Life Points does a Standard Duel start out with now? Last I remember it was 4000 but I think it changed to 8000.

You don't need to add all of that. Just one or two of those suggestions would have been good enough.

Anime does it at 2000 / 4000, but in the TCG it's 8000

The first card is slightly better. To give it full playability and at the same time not make it too too broken, make it just 1 discard and the removal of 1 face-up. Because it still seems a bit too underpowered when it's effects are compared to their costs and whatnot. Also, don't forget to consider making it removed from the field as a whole and not just destroyed. That's all just my opinion though, and is up to you what you want to do with the card. Will review second card ASAP.
