RED-EYES BLACK METAL DRAGON is in this deck.

I would go back and disapprove everything you've said' date=' but that'll damage your ego (plus, it's been done). But I will point out that you are wrong.[/quote']

I'm having trouble understanding who that is directed at. Also I'm going to request this topic gets closed as it is just a long argument going no where for no reason.

Monsters

Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon

Metalzoa

As these are both nomis when you use monster gate or reasoning they are sent to the graveyard and monster gate and reasoning will continue. In this way it populates the graveyard with machine monsters.

Dark Magician of Chaos

When DMoC is effected by monster gate or reasoning he gets special summoned, but as his effect lets you get back a spell in the graveyard you can choose to bring back MG or reasoning, also there are the many other spells (overload fusion) to get back.

Jinzo

Protects from traps so you can hit them with the Chimeratech OTK.

Cyber Dragon

Needed for the fusions

Cyber Phoenix

Protects against traps

The Light - Hex-Sealed Fusion

fusion substitutes

Card Trooper

Discards to fuel graveyard and when he dies you draw 1 card.

Spells

Power Bond

For the cyber twin dragon or cyber end dragon OTK

Future Fusion

Puts cards in graveyard for Overload Fusion. For Chimeratech OTK

Overload Fusion

Chimeratech OTK

Dimension Fusion

Brings back the cards used in the fusions, this means some Cyber Dragons + it brings back cards for more fusion material.

Trade-In

Increase draw and fuel graveyard with a Machine.

Monster Gate

Reasoning

Fuels graveyard and brings out a cyber dragon or similar card

Heavy Storm

Giant Trunade

Clear spells and traps for a OTK hit.

Magical Stone Excavation

Bring back a needed spell for the combo

H-Heated Heart

Lets you attack through Defence for the OTK

Limiter Removal

Double attack for OTK

Premature Burial

Bring back a needed monster, e.g. Cyber Dragon, if need be.

Card Destruction

Fuel Graveyard and get more draw.

Traps

Mirror Force

Self explanatory

Call of the Haunted

same as Premature Burial

Fusions

Cyber End Dragon

Cyber Twin Dragon

Chimeratech Fortress Dragon

Chimeratech Overdragon

The OTK cards for the deck.

NO this isn’t the best idea in the world, it has been thought of before many a time. In fact there are a number of flaws in it, firstly the dead draws. But more importantly then that monster gate and reasoning are broken by some unnecessary cards. Overload fusion is your best option in most cases but there are only 3 ways to get it. Draw it, DMoC or Magical Stone Excavation. If you draw DMoC or you never get to Monster Gate him/Reasoning him and Overload Fusion gets stopped or killed you can’t Chimeratech OTK. Then your next bet is Cyber Twin/End OTK but it has the exact same problems as Overload in terms of getting it. Finally the biggest problem with ALL monster gate/reasoning decks is that they rely on the graveyard. If you verse someone with a remove from play deck you lose from the following, Dimension Fissure, Macro Cosmos, Banisher of Light, Banisher of Radiance, Big Burn, there are many situations that this deck wont work. Again you are incredibly week to a Necrovalley deck.

Now I hope you don't say I don't understand how the deck works because I'm pretty sure I just explained it well enough, I could go more in depth but it really doesn't matter.

Lastly I hope those that didn't get the deck now do. It is a smart idea (done before), but don't think it has cracked some secret code to win at yugioh.

Ok, NOW i understand it. It took a lot of workng from both crab helmet and this guy to do, but now I pretty much get it.

it has been thought of before many a time

Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon puts it over the top in terms of actually kickassery.

In fact there are a number of flaws in it, firstly the dead draws.

Every deck has dead draws, find me one that is immune to dead draws and I'll burn my cards.

But more importantly then that monster gate and reasoning are broken by some unnecessary cards.

Cards which are needed to reduce dead draws. Funny how that works.

Overload fusion is your best option in most cases but there are only 3 ways to get it. Draw it, DMoC or Magical Stone Excavation.

This deck maximizes those three options.

If you draw DMoC

Trade-In, Premature. Enjoy.

or you never get to Monster Gate him/Reasoning him and Overload Fusion gets stopped or killed you can’t Chimeratech OTK.

I don't know what you're trying to say, but I'm assuming something along the lines of DMoC being one of the last cards in the deck?

Such is the case with sack decks; see DDT.

Then your next bet is Cyber Twin/End OTK but it has the exact same problems as Overload in terms of getting it.

The mere fact that there are several win conditions increases consistency; most decks don't even have a plan B.

The Macro player would need to sack a Macro/D-Fissure/Banisher of Radiance (no one runs Light) very early in the game, because this deck aims to go off before turn 3 or so. And remember, there's this cool thing called the sidedeck.

Again you are incredibly week to a Necrovalley deck.

"lol gravekeeper's"

You're probably the same person as Crab Helmet and the others. New members have the EXACT same opinion, and you're acting like this is YOUR deck we're talking about. You should be banned as well, along with the locking of this thread.

Yes I am all of them. You caught me. Ad Hominem is awesome.

I popped it in WCT 08' date=' and pwned noobs. It's not hard to grasp, just try running it. Muy fun.

[/quote']

I agree. This deck is fun to run, and most of the decisions you need to make are fairly intuitive.

NO this isn’t the best idea in the world' date='[/quote']

It contains Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon. That automatically makes it the most awesome idea since ever. True fact.

In fact there are a number of flaws in it' date=' firstly the dead draws.[/quote']

Perfect Circle sucks because Destiny Draw doesn't work unless you have a D-Hero in your hand, making it a dead draw in some cases.

But more importantly then that monster gate and reasoning are broken by some unnecessary cards.

Those unnecessary cards being what? Every card has a purpose here.

Overload fusion is your best option in most cases but there are only 3 ways to get it. Draw it' date=' DMoC or Magical Stone Excavation.[/quote']

All of which are made ridiculously easier by the Semi-Nomi engine.

If you draw DMoC or you never get to Monster Gate him/Reasoning him and Overload Fusion gets stopped or killed you can’t Chimeratech OTK.

Trade-In him to the grave for Prem/Call' date=' or even Tribute Summon him if necessary. If he's been RFP'd, Dimension Fusion. There's always a way.

Then your next bet is Cyber Twin/End OTK but it has the exact same problems as Overload in terms of getting it.

More options = higher chance of success.

Hey, guys, Perfect Circle relies on the graveyard. Necrovalley > Perfect Circle.

More seriously, this deck runs very quickly, so the opponent would need to be lucky to get those out in time. Even if they did, I have Heavy/Trunade to take care of Macro/Fissure/Necrovalley, my monsters to take care of Banisher of the Radiance, and Dimension Fusion to turn RFP effects in my favour for an alternate OTK with Power Bond.

Now I hope you don't say I don't understand how the deck works because I'm pretty sure I just explained it well enough' date=' I could go more in depth but it really doesn't matter.[/quote']

Most of your explanations were fairly good. You have the right general idea of the deck's goal and how it is accomplished.

Lastly I hope those that didn't get the deck now do. It is a smart idea (done before)' date=' but don't think it has cracked some secret code to win at yugioh.

[/quote']

No, but it has turned Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon into a good card. That alone should be worth something. >.>

GKO logs don't say what cards are in your hand, so no, I would be unable to tell you if you're playing it right.

Basically, as long as you're using Trade-In, Reasoning, and Monster Gate at basically every opportunity, you're probably playing right.

I know this :P wasn't saying otherwise. It is good you have a 'plan B' as it was put but I was just saying that both plan A and B have the same weaknesses to particular deck variants.

The main point I was making was that this deck isn't the greatest deck in the world. Also I was trying to tell everyone how it would work, generally I was trying to make everyone calm:P.

Alright, now the problem with these options is that they all rely on spell cards, you only have 2 ways of getting back spell cards.

Some ideas for improving the odds on getting the right spell cards are

- Adding some more draw cards, Dark World Dealings, Hand Collapse.

- Adding some Spell Reproductions

- Consider removing Limiter Removal, It is a good OTK card, but it isn't integral to the deck. If you draw it, it doesn't mean you will get the Fusions you want. I would say an increase draw card can replace this to heighten consistency in getting your fusions.

These are just suggestions, if you don't want to try them out or use them then this deck wasn't really put up for critique. Also it might be a good idea to put up some extra explanations next time you post a deck. That way you wont get so many people posting statements without understanding the deck.

OH GOD, REAL ADVICE?

What a world we live in...

Well i thought it would be silly of me to comment saying I actually know how the deck works, and that it still has problems then not actually mention any potential fixes :P.

I am still not personally a big fan of the deck (I don't like the cyber dragons OTK that much). Purely because of it's graveyard reliance, don't get me wrong I have a nasty habit of making graveyard based decks, but they are unfortunately always vulnerable to RFG decks which have had a large rise over the years. Thats not to say the deck isn't well thought out or a reasonable idea, I just am not a fan.

I understand that people are upset that it took so long for many people to get this deck, and that people where seemingly responding without reading through. But honestly if anyone had just stated how the deck worked as clearly as possible to begin with, then several annoying pages of random bickering (and some banning of new members) could have been avoided.

I'm glad that Crab Helmet is back. Also I think that people seemed to overlook the fact that these new people are far better deck builders than they seem to have been credited for. However at the same time I hope they don't resent the forum or perceive their banning as some grand injustice, a lot of 'flaming' and unnecessary posts occurred and whilst not everyone deserving of punishment was punished or recognized I think that those who did get into trouble could learn from it (even if the punishment seemed harsh).

If you think about it, the manner in which you reacted to people failing to understand the decks strategy was deterring, and because of this it would have felt insulting. Rather then explain the deck in more detail you merely exclaimed how they people didn't understand it. I personally found this attitude appeared a little arrogant (whether intentional or not) and so didn't want to provide any advice initially. Finally when Crab Helmet was banned people began bringing up how great an injustice it was and that it was a violation of their expression of opinions. At no point did the people who banned you understand your opinions, rather they seemed to think you had sparked an argument where you stubbornly rejected others input, which from the way your posts could easily be perceived you had, even by me who understood the deck. If your idea had been expressed clearly this wouldn't have been an issue and if you kept re-iterating your point when bad advice was given you could have easily avoided a ban.

From my understanding this entire incident was merely a giant miscommunication. The blame doesn't necessarily lay with anyone but we could all learn from it. So in the future try not to seem to act so righteous without first realizing that to be virtuous you must be understanding and humble. Even if the meaning of your statements were obscured by the ambiguousness that an online community exists with, try and better express yourself as not doing so can cause ramifications of which we have now all seen.

Amen brudda, but, back on topic. I'm pretty sure I understand this deck, but, alas, I don't kow how to fix it because I've never seen it before in my life (untill today). But, I think it's a good deck.

I agree with Limiter Removal. Normally it's a great card, but here I usually already have enough ATK for Chimeratech, and Power Bond is better for Cyber Twin/End anyway...

-1 Limiter Removal

+1 H-Heated Heart

Because Marshmallon has an annoying habit of getting in my way.

Why not Hand Collapse? I'm going to be beat out here' date=' I know it, bt I just want to know why. =p

Mainly because the cards I want to discard are the Level 8 monsters, and for them Trade-In is superior. Plus, there simply isn't room in the deck.
