Just like how when a baby is born, it doesn't know what a "video game" is or what the "internet" is. It learns all of those things, and most babies born "learn" about supreme beings and gods and whatnot. Babies don't know what "god" is, and therefore cannot believe in something they do not even know the concept of. But knowing you, you'll counter with something stupid like, "well, if a baby doesn't say that it's atheist, we have to assume that it could be believing in a supreme being, therefore, your proof is invalid." It was a parody of the OP, which seemed to be stating someone was silly almost entirely for declaring what religion they had. I see now that they were trying to focus more on their belief that the person didn't understand the religion they were declaring themselves a part of, although I'm with Crab in that they haven't got much evidence if they're even right in asserting their friend got it wrong. His immature personality makes him call me a " stupid Catholic" and I laughed at him. Again his horrible personality and the fact that he says he is an atheist led me to the suggestion thinking that he finds it as a fad.I'll help Opalmoon here. You said at the beginning of the story that you were surprised that your friend came out and said he was an atheist because he didn't seem like one to you. What gave you the impression that he wasn't an atheist? I'd comment on other people's posts but this is honestly the most interesting part of this thread for me.
