evilfusion Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 Both an excellent swarm card for Sabers and a good side option AGAINST Sabers. Are Sabers even played that much? I remember it being one of the most powerful decks in the meta, second only to Infernity, and one of the only decks untouched by the banlist. Yet you don't seem to hear about them anymore. [/quote] They used to be able to summon 3 Trish and 1 Brio/Goyo in 1 turn, by using 1 card. Frogs used to have an FTK that got Substitoad banned. See, around the time they were considered godly, everyone was b*tching about deck X or Card Z ALL THE TIME. These days, I almost never see a thread spiral down into rants about certain cards or decks, and X-Sabers are only mentioned in passing, which led me to conclude that the deck has fallen out of favor. I was thinking that the release of certain cards had neutralized the deck indirectly, and I suppose Rescue Cat's banning hurt.
