Mysty
You might be wondering, "Two contests for Yusei?" Well, I'm making two cosplay decks for a friend and here's how I want each to work: Contest A: Anime Yusei • Build a deck using only cards Yusei has used in the anime and that he didn't borrow from other people (feel free to use Turbo Booster though). • It must have Stardust Dragon. • You can base it around just one theme of his (Warriors, Stardust Dragon, Junk Warrior power up), but remember you can't use non-Yusei cards. No Dandylion. • Replacements for Speed Spells can be non-Yusei cards if you so wish to use them. For example, you can use Polymerization because it does the same thing as Speed Fusion. • Preferable to keep the deck at 40 cards. • Be sure to include a playbook. • The goal is to make the deck as competitive as it can get. • TCG and OCG only. Contest B: Anime Yusei Highlander • Think of every card Yusei has used in the anime and didn't borrow from others. You can only use up to 1 of each of those to construct this deck and Extra Deck. • It must have all his Synchros unless he has more than 15 cards in his Extra Deck. It must have Stardust Dragon (and only 1). • Must encompass his entire overall strategy (special summon weak monsters to Synchro Summon Warrior Synchros and Stardust dragon and upgrades). • Can be anywhere from 40 to 60 cards. With a deck as mishmash as this, consistency doesn't exactly matter. • A playbook may or may not be necessary, since I basically told you what the strategy needs to be. You can include a playbook can talk about tips and tricks. • This deck doesn't have to be in any sense competitive, but it should be fun. • TCG and OCG only. Reps: This is much more of an informal contest. I will probably send these to my friend to look over and he'll probably choose which ones he likes best and those people will get a rep each. If he isn't up for doing that I'll just judge the decks based on what I see in them. I know it isn't so much a 'contest' as "Help me out please!", but any deck recipes are greatly appreciated.
