Brushfire
I've got rather sick of it to be honest. Every game has been the same since COD4, and ironically enough COD4 is still the best game out of all of them. I still play it every now and then, but I'm bored of playing the same repetitive gameplay for four years straight with no good single player mode to back it up. I won't be purchasing MW3, Skyrim is definitely getting my money instead.
Xazeon
I started playing CoD (at a friend's house) a little late, about 2 months after the release of MW2, so I'm still interested in CoD. But Black Ops lately is getting boring and at the moment it's the only CoD game I have. I'm going to buy MW2 sometime soon, however.
Makο
My first CoD I can remember would be Call of Duty: The Big Red One. Afterward, I got CoD 3, then straight to Black Ops. It's an good series, severely over hyped, though, as with many games. I honestly would rather play other games, but the fast kill times keep me coming back, since they are refreshing compared to the kill times of other games I've played. Why is it I never see any Medal of Honor threads? My childhood was composed of Medal of Honor! That, plus Pokémon and Halo.
Daft Punk
Honestly, I'm ready for CoD to die. It's over hyped and not even that good. And it's pretty much the same game every year, except with different scenery and campaign (Guns tend to act similar to those in other games, despite being different) (Not counting Zombies, which it has been the same for both WoW and BO. They even released the old maps for those who Pre-Ordered it or something like that). It also brings up CoD Gun Experts, which I can't stand. At all.
My brother has turned into a CoD gun expert... It's annoying as hell. I like the series.... but I recently got a PS3 last April, which means my first CoD gmae was Modern Warfare 2. I really liked it and played it all the time. When Black Ops came out, I liked it, but it lacked something I couldn't really put my finger on. It got boring after a while. I'm 3rd Prestige level 24, and I am SUPER bored of Black Ops. The last time I played it was two weeks before the PSN outage. But after I got Black Ops, I rented CoD4 for the hell of it, and I was truly amazed. I really though it was better than both MW2 and Bo. But of course, every single online game was hacked with people shooting full-auto noontubes. But anyway, after seeing how awesome CoD4 is, I really expect a lot from the next game. But I do agree that the series may be dying.
Madsen
Started playing MW2 this January and play it pretty much every day. And yes on PC because I dunno.
Sorrow.
I don't think Call of Duty is going to die for quite awhile unless a greater FPS will be released because there's a tons of people who dedicate their lives to CoD. I'm playing the MW2 Campaign at the moment over complete boredom because I don't have DR2. Out of all the Call of Duty games MW2 has to be the most intensifying in terms of the Campaign, the Multiplayer is just crap.

Makο
So, having millions of dollars will make your game good? Logic does not compute. Well, unless they spent money to make the game good... But what are the chances of that happening?
Dark
Just. Another. Shooter. What seperates it from games like Halo or Killzone or the other of thousands of shooters with the slight exception of realism? I'm fine with people liking shooters, but why CoD out of the thousands of choices? It doesn't seem all that special.

.Starrk
It's a great FP shooter. But I don't think they should release so many f***ing games.
Makο
They should spend less time trying to release one every year and more time trying to release a top of the line, 10/10 on all fronts game.

What we're you thinking? I agree with all of you but I believe that they are afraid that the longer it takes the more fans they'll lose. So this could possibly the reason they release a new CoD every single year.
Makο
People need to learn to have patience. That is one of the problems with todays society. The faster things are able to happen, such as travel and doing calculations, the more impatient people will become. And it's only going to get worse. Xazeon
I love sniping aswell. I hardly ever use anything but the snipers when I play BC2. But on Black Ops, the hit detection is bad with snipers (example: my crosshairs were perfectly aligned with an enemy, in his chest, and I didnt even get a hitmarker).
