If it is a Dark Attribute or Zombie type monster it can not be destroyed in battle. If it is neither a Dark Attribute or Zombie type, it automatically changes to a Dark Attribute Zombie type monster and the effect will apply, but it will lose 500 ATK points.
Stoopid1
I guess that's pretty interesting, although the text is a lot more convoluted than it needs to be, so I'll help ya simplify it. Your card as it currently is should be written like this...
The equipped monster cannot be destroyed by battle. If the original Type or Attribute of the equipped monster is neither DARK nor Zombie-Type, it becomes a DARK Zombie-Type monster and loses 500 ATK.
My suggestion for slightly changing this card for the better:
If the original Type or Attribute of the equipped monster is neither DARK nor Zombie-Type, it becomes a DARK Zombie-Type monster and loses 500 ATK. Each time the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, you can prevent it from being destroyed. If the equipped monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, it will be treated as a Zombie-Type monster in the Graveyard until the End Phase.
If you use my suggested effect, it will be playable in two different ways. Battle-proof by choice because it's your monster, (basically giving it the effect of Mistbody) or because you equipped it to your opponent's attack position monster and can choose to attack it multiple times to inflict battle damage, then destroy it with your last attack. If it's equipped to your opponent's non-dark non-zombie, it will be weakened. And, regardless of it's type and attribute, if you destroy it, it will apply to cards that use zombie effects such as Paladin of the Cursed Dragon.
