What I mean is with so many of the cards getting card amount restrictions wouldn't you be turned off by it? The goal I see now is making those draw cards less powerful so they don't get restricted. ^_^

Ah, I see. Yeah, I specifically made these cards for RP'ing purposes, so I wasn't thinking of things such as Exodia when making them. I'll see what I can do about the Spells, but do the monsters (aside from Emerald Sonic) bother you?

When this card attacks a Defense Position monster, destroy the monster immediately without applying Battle Damage. Negate the effects of monsters this card destroys.[/b][/i]

Cody Frost: Hmmm…defense negator with draw power. Sure it’s power is at level 4 but it might be a little OPed mainly because it’s doing too much. First you have a +1 draw while you have at least 6 “Cosmic Gem” monsters (which is not that hard to get with cards like Ryko, Glow-up Bulb and Foolish) and then you have a +2 when you discard a “Cosmic monster” giving you a +2 hand advantage all during the turn it’s Summoned. Then it has a recharge effect that allows it to get more counters. It’s doing too much…Maybe just make it discard 1 “Cosmic Gem” monster to draw 2 cards and get rid of it’s Counter Gem Counter effect when it’s Summoned, but keep the second effect of getting counters while destroying monsters. Maybe the effect negation effect should go bye bye as well. Stats are good. Art is good.

Cody Frost: This one is somewhat balanced. It has the potential of getting to 2200 ATK, but no where near the first turn. Could be a decent beater. The Special Summon effect is what is getting to me. Maybe make it level 4 or lower instead of 6? Well…I’ll check the level 6 monsters before continuing with this card. OPed mainly for the reason that you can Special Summon ATK 2300+ monsters with it’s effect, which could lead to a total field domination.

Cody Frost: Interesting burn effect. I like this card because it’s moderately balanced. Good burn, good additional effect. Pretty nice stats also. Now…however…I must finish reviewing that Crystal Stag…

Cody Frost: Easy Summon conditions, powerful effect, = Broken card. This card can selectively destroy everything on the field AND can Special Summon “Cosmic Gem” fodder. This basically sets up for Deck thinning, swarming, and monster clearance all together. Top it off with 2400 ATK and you have a general beatstick with too many good effects. FIX.

Cody Frost: This one’s nice. It’s costs can be achieved pretty easy, and doesn’t stop the damage from happening. Overall, balanced. Pretty useful. Good to run at 3 in a Deck.

Cody Frost: Interesting. Pretty balanced, and due to it’s stats I doubt it will be on the field for long. Plus, most cards now days remove cards from the field instead of destroying them, which makes it pretty easy to avoid it’s burn effect. Overall, balanced nicely.

Cody Frost: Broken with this set. Because the second effect is not limited to “Once per turn,” you can add a +3 to your hand without much trouble. Then you can set up some Swarm Tactics with [b]Mantis[/b], [b]Gargoyle[/b], and even recycle itself. Lets assume you do that. Then you can activate this guy’s last effect to add 3 Cosmic Counters to your previous Opal Transport and repeat. Then you can set up for Gargoyle’s effect and Summon a third Opal and another Cosmic Monster and the look keeps on going. This guy is so broken….FIX!

Cody Frost: Okay, this one is pretty balanced. It can be Special Summoned pretty easy, doesn’t have a massive effect and leads to two level 4 monsters. This one is balanced.

During your opponent's Battle Phase, you can remove a Cosmic Gem - Ruby Counter to decrease this card's ATK to 0. If you do, destroy a monster your opponent controls. When a monster your opponent controls is destroyed, you can remove a Cosmic Gem - Sapphire Counter from this card to decrease this card's DEF to 0. If you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's Level x400. When this card is destroyed, draw 2 cards for each Counter on this card.[/b][/i]

Cody Frost: This one can be balanced pretty quickly. Maybe make it’s ATK 2400 instead of 2600 to keep the Summon effect. Maybe increase it’s DEF to 1900-2400 to make it’s second effect worth thinking over, and finally make it draw 1 card instead of 2, or it will be like a Pot of Greed.

It would be useful only as a 1900 beater if you had to get the Sapphire Counters from somewhere else…and if you switch the Sapphire Counters to Cosmic Counters, this card would be kind of OPed as it would destroy several face-downs with just it’s Summon. Fix?

Cody Frost: Strangely balanced but does way too much. And it’s ATK makes it slightly OPed as it can be brought out pretty easily. Maybe make it 3000 ATK. As for its effect…very long, and the last one seems somewhat redundant. Maybe just scrap the burn effect and keep the rest. That should make it much more readable and enjoyable.

Cody Frost: Okay…this one seems quite abusable, and not in a good way. The first effect of Special Summoning 2 monsters is okay. The second one seems quite OPed maybe make it 3 cards instead of 5. The third effect is alright because it requires a set up, so that’s okay. The second last effect is good also because it requires a lot of time to set up, and the last effect seems kind of redundant, just like with the previous Synchro. It’s not needed.

Once per turn, you can reveal up to 2 cards in your Hand. For each monster revealed this way, place 1 Cosmic Gem - Sapphire Counter on this card. For each Spell Card revealed this way, place 1 Cosmic Gem 0 Emerald Counter on this card. For each Trap Card revealed this way, place 1 Cosmic Gem - Ruby Counter on this card. Cody Frost: Very balanced, although the Synchro Summon Conditions seem unnecessary. It has perfectly good effects and the specifics make it generally good. The ATK is what is most troublesome. Maybe make it 4000 instead of 4400. Last but not least, take out the last burn effect, as it is not needed.

Cody Frost: I wonder if this card can be miss interpreted as you removing 4 counters from it and adding 4 counters to each Cosmic Gem monster. 4 Counters for you, 4 Counters for you, and 4 Counters for you. Maybe make the wording in such a way where they won’t confuse it for such? Other than that it looks fine.

Cody Frost: Completes the shield of the Cosmic Gem monsters. Not only that, but it’s a draw engine. Maybe make it, “While there are 3 or more “Cosmic Gem” monsters in your Graveyard, you can discard 1 card to negate the destruction of 1 “Cosmic Gem” monster you control. During your 3rd Standby Phase after this card’s activation, destroy this card and draw 1 card.”

Counters can be shortened.
Cosmic Gem - Sapphire/Emerald/Ruby Counter can be expressed as just Sapphire/Emerald/Ruby Counters. Would cut down a lot and make things more readable.

Many of these cards are Summon/Draw supporters for each other. Maybe you can cut down the effects so that they don’t overlap each other into +4s or higher.

Overall, the set is quite OPed, but it has great potential. I shall refrain from rating until I’ve seen some changes or such. I shall be watching till then.

Thanks - I never intended to put so many draw effects into the monster, but I'll see what I can do.
Also, for Cosmic Wish - it's Draw equal to half the levels, not equal to the level.

Initially, I did use just Sapphire/Emerald/Ruby Counters, but then I can't classify them as a single type of Counter.

Also, I will be sure to check out your set as soon as I get back on a computer - I've been stuck on an iPod during the past 2-3 days.

Personally I felt the effect changes weren't too huge a difference, but that's your call

I'd raise my rate higher, but I'd want to see the remaining cards first
