Earthen - Diamora the Crystacean

I felt like making an EARTH monster today, and after seeing the pic, an idea hit me, and this was the result.
The image made me consider doing an archetype based on the "Earthen" part of its name, so if I feel motivated enough, I may go through with it.

Here is "Earthen - Diamora the Crystacean".

1 Tuner + 1 Rock-Type non-Tuner monster
If this card is attacked, you can switch the attack target to another monster on the field instead (except the attacking monster). Once per turn, you can discard 1 card. If you do, you gain 1 additional draw during your next Draw Phase.

just LP boosting is a bit dull

I would have made it more of a burn effect to your opponent, or atk/def drain on your opponent's monsters

Fortunately the 1st effect by synchro standards is balanced since you didn't say it can only be done once per turn, so I find it just fine

Its first effect is based on the refraction of light when a ray of light passes through and ends up going somewhere else.
I tried to get a diamond motif on the second effect, where by eliminating "impurities" (discarding cards), you get something "beautiful" (Life Points).

What would you recommend for a replacement of the second effect while sticking with a diamond-ish theme?

since you said it's to be more "beautiful" in effect and not harmful, just give yourself a little draw power or something (just don't make it TOO much)
