Supernova Remnants

I wonder...would these work better as Ritual Monsters? Their summoning conditions are basically the same as Rituals, so it might make more sense.

On a side note, I'll be releasing a support and an anti-support card today. I know this is Finished Sets, but this has proven to be less finished than I thought. So there.

I added a new Support (which, due to its extremely simple effect, could probably work elsewhere) and an Anti.

Well i think you should decrease all the levels, too high
I disagree. If the levels are too low, they're too easy to search or find effects to work with them. Besides, their virtual invincibility should justify their high level. I appreciate your opinion, though.

I'm a huge fan about space please make more please!!!

I could help if you need.

Hmmm...to be honest, I'm mostly done with this set. I didn't really plan on making more cards; this card is in Finished Cards, after all. I would like to hear your ideas, at least; maybe I'll add an addendum thread at some point. Thanks anyway.

The Gradius cards would not sync very well with these. For one, they're all Machine types; these are all Psychics. In addition, Gradius relies of swarming, either for OTK or fast Synchro support. With SR Black Hole, 3 of the available Monster Card zones are, for all intents and purposes, taken up; it's not easy to swarm with 2 monsters. In other words...sorry, no.

My only complaint is that the cards are nearly unstoppable. In a 60 card deck ancient gear deck with 3 gold sarcs and 3 ancient gear drills, barring facing a burn deck, if you get one of them to the field, then you can literally just pass until your opponent decks out.

True, but that's kind of the point. Your best bet is to negate the effects to begin with. Skill Drain eats these things alive.

Also, 5000 views.

Uploading these to Duel Network. Make of them what you will.

I like the overall idea of these cards. Idk why people say that they are NOT monsters when you clearly made them that way. Explaining the reason of these cards was a good idea and helped me understand where you were going with this. The idea of stall and negating is good, maybe if added a few more support cards they would be a little more playable, but overall: 7/10

Thanks for the review. DN stands for Duel Network, a YCM-sponsored online dueling system that uses custom cards. I uploaded these cards for use on that game.

I know what DN is but what do you mean by uploaded to DN? If you mean by actually uploading these cards to DN idk how you can do it and I would love to learn so I can put my Black magician archetype on there XD.

Also, you are really good at what you do so can you please check out my archetype on the Black Magicians if your not busy. And how do you put spoilers within spoilers?

Sorry I couldn't get to you earlier; I had other business. I made a mistake; they're not on Duel NETWORK (which only uses official cards) but Duel PORTAL (which is all custom). Sorry about that. As for spoilers within spoilers, it goes something like this:
Text
[\spoiler][\spoiler]
Use backslashes as normal for the end parts, however; I used forward slashes so the chat client wouldn't turn them into actual spoilers. Don't overuse them, though.

After a little thought, I decided I'm not going to make these into Ritual Monsters. As nice as it would be to see some Ritual support, they would be far too OP'd. With these, you need to offer a single monster on your side of the field; for Rituals, you can use multiple monsters from the field or your hand. So that pretty blue won't be gracing these cards.

You could make the ritual spell have specific requirements similar to how Advanced Ritual Art requires normal monsters from the deck whose level equals the monster exactly.

Say, there's an idea. I'll think about it.

I thought about it, and I'm still not sure how to implement the Ritual idea. I think these have gone about as far as they can, aside from finishing the CCD (which, upon further analysis, probably wouldn't work anyway). But they're on Duel Portal, so you can use them.

I may not have been on here for a long time however I feel that what you have going here is a great idea. You should keep at it. Yes you need the ability to attack more however if you can give something like SR Black Hole, a card based off of the idea of a constant eating machine on the cosmic scale, then you have a real power house card in the making. I would also have to agree with the statement that you need a more balanced deck. A lot of cards that work with the SR cards however not a lot of cards to aid them in summoning the SR cards.

Also I understand if you don't want to listen to me, I am kinda new at the whole forum. It is just my opinion anyways.

I gotta admit, that's probably the most polite post I've seen on this forum. Gold star for

Unfortunately, I disagree with your ideas. While adding an offensive "constant eating machine on a cosmic scale" would be wicked awesome (I thought of Galactus when I read that), it would be very difficult to balance. On one hand, it'd be a dead draw if you draw it and don't have any SRs on the field, which is how I'm assuming one would summon it. The other option would be to make it summonable by "Monster Supernova", but the tributed monster would have to be of an absurdly high level. On the other hand, a super-strong monster that cannot be removed from the field by battle or card effects would be very difficult to stop once summoned. Unless your opponent is running Skill Drain against these (which they should), that monster would stay on the field virtually forever; and unlike the SRs, it'd be able to launch attacks with impunity, which to me is very OP'd. "Five-Headed Dragon" has the highest ATK in the game and a decent protective effect, but it still has a weakness (namely, LIGHT monsters). I might think of a way to balance it, but don't hold your breath.

The other reason is out of decorum; this thread is in Finished Sets, so technically I shouldn't be adding any more cards.
