Cody Frost
burning arrow, what cody already said, is just for the counter usage, and with the monster on the field you can deal 1600 points of damage without an attack. I know it is not the most exciting card but i think it is a (good) part of the set. more cards are comming up, i think i'll have them posted by tommorow @ cody: i'll hope you will review my set this weekend, i know this deck is easy to counter, but the strongest monster is about to come!!
Will do chief! Looking forward to it

ragnarok1945
for Icy Arrow, I wouldn't negate the monster's effect PERMANENTLY, just say your opponent has to pay 1000 LP each time he/she wants to use that monster's effect Sherwood Ambush is better, though removing that many counters DOES kind of limit Icy Arrow's effect
Cody Frost
Icy arrow is pretty good considering all the counters, and the effect negation doesn't seem OPed at all. Boss monster is good and the way it uses counters up pretty easily makes it quite balanced. Sherwood ambush is a perfect card for this set, but I'm thinking it might be a more powerful form of Mirror Force...That's kind of giving me the..."look"... DarkM
oow sorry i posted the my old icy arrow, i edit the new one i wante to posted thank for the review, i'm glad to hear the cards are nice @cody: it's not a more powerfull mirror force, cause for ambush you have a cost and requires arrow counter on the field
Cody Frost
Yes, but it's a "Counter Trap", meaning only "Counter Traps" will be able to stop it, making it harder to deal with.
DarkM
yes i see your point, but luckily for me, almost all, if is not all, trap cards that negate the activation of a trap card are counter traps so it doesn't realy matter

ragnarok1945
Poisoned Arrow you could make the burn bigger 400 isn't much, and unless you can't force the spell off the field until the 5th turn, I'm sure your opponent will rid it off 8.3/
DarkM
it's a normal spell card so it doesn't stays on the field, it is just with crush card virus' effect. what doe you suggest make it 600 or 500 damage, cause now you already burn 2000 over 5 turns
ragnarok1945
then make it 500 burn, it's not too huge a difference

Cody Frost
Hmmm, the last 2 cards seem quite balanced. I can see Alan being run at 3 with Flying Kamikiri #2 along side it in a WIND Heavy Burn Deck. Your spell is quite nice, probably best run at 2 (at most) since you can get one and then by the time the first poison arrow resolves you'll have the second ready and waiting. Pretty nice. ragnarok1945
the spell is a bit boring all it does is get counters for you, I was hoping you'd give it another effect (the preventing of being destroyed is too meh for that)
DarkM
well, if i give it another effect it's a bit op'ed don't u think but if i add the effect that the monsters can use their effect twice per turn, is that an idea?
Cody Frost
IDK, Something about Nottingham seems...just right. It gives a good vive to the archtype structure...kind of like "fung shuei" or whatever it's called.
