No disrespecting each other! 1st offense - Slap on the wrist. 2nd offense - Falcon Punched by yours truly! ;D 3rd offense - Kicked from this RP and possible banned from my other RPs and games.[/spoiler] AIM OF THE RP - Win the tournament and have your greatest desire fulfilled! ;D [spoiler=How the RP will play out]Firstly, it's going to be a turn based RP tournament. Now, before you shoot it down, read how it will work. Players will have two characters. Their real character...and their virtual character! Their real characters will be at a tournament. While waiting for matches to start, they can interact with each other (this is where most of the plot will be developed...by them! haha) and they can make comments while a "battle" is happening. Now, when in a "battle", players will enter the "arena" and put on equipment to control their virtual character. Their character will then appear in the arena (by hologram stuff) and will do what they do. From there, players will have a turn based fight. This is how that will work. Players will have a Primary magical class, and a Secondary class. Each class will have about 3 to 7 spells. Before each match starts, players message me with a list of the spells they are going to use. Out of the 10 spells they can use, they can only use 5 in a battle. This way I can make sure people don't "swap" out a spell to gain the advantage. Each spell can be used as many times as you want until one player wins (unless the spell description says otherwise). Here is an example of a "battle". Bob uses Metal Coating! Joe uses Spell Clog (can only be used once)! Bob can no longer use Metal Coating! Bob uses Fireball! Joes loses 5 HP! Joe uses Gust! Shield halves the attack! Bob loses 2.5 HP! Of course, there will be the mandatory 4 lines post. You know...add what you are thinking...have some random flashback like all anime characters do in an important battle...etc. When a player reaches 0 HP, they lose. The tournament continues until only one is left. Get the concept? GOOD! If not, ask questions![/spoiler] [spoiler=IMPORTANT!!!!!]Before you can cast certain spells, you must have a certain amount of "PP". You gain one PP per turn. In other words, if you want to use a spell that takes 6 PP, you have to not use any of your PP until it builds up to 6. You can do this by either passing or using spells that don't cost PP. Finding the real world tedious and filled with unnecessary problems and issues, he longs for a reprise. His loved his fictional worlds and lived the lives he never had there. He is intelligent, creative and spiteful, and knows how to plan the demise of his enemies. He has one wish, one secret, dark wish that would ensure the future he wants. Yes indeed. Kexlore wears white soled shoes with a grey main part that is outlined black with white laces and white insides. Coming up from his shoes he wears a pair of blue work looking pants that are secured to his waste by a black leather belt with a silver buckle. His attitude for life is that everyone should just stay out of his way and leave him alone and that if he needs you or even wants to acknowledge your existence he'll come find you. Kexlore only finds joy and ridding humanity of it's most dishonorable trait, and to his own personal view, that's greed. He also refuses to ever say the phrase I <3 DK for some odd reason... Bio/History: Kexlore was never into the whole virtual fighting thing, no, not until this tournament popped up. Apparently, people were to put one weird clothing that'd project a virtual fighter so that they could fight to obtain one wish, one desire of some sort. Kexlore, sickened by how far humanities greed has gone he decides that he'd take part in this little virtual fighting tournament. If he won this tournament he could use the wish to wish for nothing making everyone see the error of the greedy ways and why this was all just a big waste of time and shouldn't be a distraction from "real" events. His reasoning for doing this is unknown and eighty percent of the time no one can find him to speak with him about it anyway; they only see him when he fights-and wins. Virtual Character Name: Greed. Gender: Male Appearance: No part of Greed's body is every shown to his enemy nor to the audience. Greed wears a completely sealed gold suit of armor that has black wrist and ankle guards with a flowing black cape on his back. His helmet is also enclosed with two holes only for eyes that gleam out red at all times. His helmet is also decorated with two horns that come out of both the right and left side of it and curve upwards into spikes. His mid-section holds a bronze belt with black buckle that holds the sheath to his gold bladed broadsword that his a shining silver handle; it is unknown weather or not Greed can draw this mighty weapon or if it's merely for show. Primary Class: Light Secondary Class: Order [/spoiler] [spoiler=ArchmageCarn]YCM Username: ArchmageCarn Real Character Name: Avel Firdhan Age: 16 Gender: Male [spoiler=Appearance] Black-haired and pale-skinned from way too many hours inside playing video games, Avel is the stereotypical nerd, minus glasses and a little taller, around 5'9". He is normally seen wearing jeans and a polo shirt, with numerous pens, a calculator, and a dice bag tucked away inside the pocket. For the tourney, however, he has dressed like his in-game character, Arcalian, with a black cloak emblazoned with blue runes and a hood that fails to hide his entire face. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Personality] Avel is a typical nerdy teen- straight A+++ student, obsessed with online things, tabletop RPGs, and all things math. The only thing that makes him even the slightest bit noticeable in school besides as a target for punches is the fact that he can extrapolate massive amounts of information from the slightest word, gesture, phrase, or I <3 DK. This has helped him immeasurably on more than one occasion, mostly during tests. He currently is addicted to the virtual game and has spent days memorizing every power, class, enemy, and combo in the game. Although this, coupled with his intelligence, could make give him a massive advantage over the majority of entrants, he is not optimistic about his chances of winning.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Bio/History] Avel’s parents are high-ranking NASA officials, so he has grown up with a love of space. He has been designing a space program for colonizing another planet, but it requires FTL travel- and actual recognition. After all he is only a high-schooler. When he casts spells, some of the runes on his cloak float off and surround his hands. He is not tall, but no one has determined his actual physical appearance- after they meet him, all they remember of his appearance is the cloak and shrouded face. His golden wings can shoot golden thorns that makes the opponent stagger, making them lose 1 turn. His skin is bloodred. His hair is black and his nose and mouth are fused together into a snout. He stands at 8"11, with a gigantic blade in both hands. He has black claws with Golden Fire flowing around them. The same golden fire flows around his entire body. His golden wings let him fly up twice his height. His eyes are sky-blue and his pupils are green. His swords transform into a gigantic bow. YCM Username: ArchmageCarn Real Character Name: Avel Firdhan Age: 16 Gender: Male [spoiler=Appearance] Black-haired and pale-skinned from way too many hours inside playing video games, Avel is the stereotypical nerd, minus glasses and a little taller, around 5'9". He is normally seen wearing jeans and a polo shirt, with numerous pens, a calculator, and a dice bag tucked away inside the pocket. For the tourney, however, he has dressed like his in-game character, Arcalian, with a black cloak emblazoned with blue runes and a hood that fails to hide his entire face. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Personality] Avel is a typical nerdy teen- straight A+++ student, obsessed with online things, tabletop RPGs, and all things math. The only thing that makes him even the slightest bit noticeable in school besides as a target for punches is the fact that he can extrapolate massive amounts of information from the slightest word, gesture, phrase, or I <3 DK. This has helped him immeasurably on more than one occasion, mostly during tests. He currently is addicted to the virtual game and has spent days memorizing every power, class, enemy, and combo in the game. Although this, coupled with his intelligence, could make give him a massive advantage over the majority of entrants, he is not optimistic about his chances of winning.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Bio/History] Avel’s parents are high-ranking NASA officials, so he has grown up with a love of space. He has been designing a space program for colonizing another planet, but it requires FTL travel- and actual recognition. After all he is only a high-schooler. (Will use male pronoun to make posts easier) [spoiler=Appearance] Arcalian is a humanoid, but that is pretty much all that is definite about him. He wears a cloak emblazoned with glowing blue runes and cowl that shrouds his entire face in darkness, obscuring all of his facial features. When he casts spells, some of the runes on his cloak float off and surround his hands. He is not tall, but no one has determined his actual physical appearance- after they meet him, all they remember of his appearance is the cloak and shrouded face.
