New Archetype ~ Range Shift [5/??]

Not all the monsters have the same attributes or types, they only focus around having the same "This card cannot be Summoned from your hand." effect.
I think these cards would probably go well with a lot of monsters that are good when they are thrown to the grave (fabled, dark world), or cards that like to use dead hands (infernities)[/color][/font][font="Courier New"][/quote]

Did you rate yourself 5 stars?

Anyways, it's a good card, yet can't really tell from just one monster. If you're gonna post an archetype, it's best if you already have a couple of monsters done.
So we can see how well they'd work together.

As a whole though, a bit of a boring card, however, useful.

1600 is fine for lv3

there's ones that go even higher, you know

now, on the other hand had it been given the ability to boost itself with virtually no cost (a contrast to Injection Fairy Lily), THEN it'd be broken

for Range Vortex

the 2 counter effect you should make it only once per turn

When it is completed, this could be a really popular set (of course it wouldn't be real). I especially like the "This card cannot be Summoned from the hand." I don't know why I like that effect, but I am drawn to it. Perhaps if you could complete the set to bring it all together it would be perfect.

All in all: 8.9/10 (it's too soon to tell)

I like the idea...

the spell card is way too overpowered though. mainly in decks like darkworlds or fabled. let's say first turn I play that spell, then follow up with upstart goblins or dark world dealings...
I might even be able to make my opponent lose his entire hand, while I summon several monsters.
Then when he draws we both discard again and he has no cards left.
I suppose the effect should include something like: When a player draws a card outside his/her Draw Phase (except by this card's effect), both players discard 1 card.

edit: or just when the controller of this card draws a card, and not when your opponent draws, just to give him a chance when you get him to topdecking.

I like the idea, though i'm not sure on the execution yet.

I had an instant idea when i saw the first card, though.

[insert clever name], Range Shift [something or other]
Level 1/300/200
Insect/Effect
You can reveal this card in your hand to discard 1 card. When a Level 4 or lower "Range Shift" Monster is sent to the Graveyard while this card is in your Graveyard, you can banish this card in your Graveyard to Special Summon that monster in Attack Position.

Or something like that. =] sometimes i have inspiration for stuff like this.

Power to you! i like the concept. Also, you should make some cards that give negative effects to other players that normal summon or special summon from the hand. That would only add more power to the idea behind the set!

8/10 for a good start.

Also, what's with the gigantic card image on the trap? This is the second thread of 2 that i have read and they both have strangely large cards in them... is it a new trend here since i've been away? XD
