evilfusion Posted May 24, 2011 Report Share Posted May 24, 2011 Probably not the best way to consider card advantage; by "forgetting" you ever had a plus or a loss after the turn's over. Gold Sarcophagus is a temporary -1. It thins your deck, yes, but you dont get anything from activating it for 2 turns. But it gives you the card, making it an ultimate +0. If you disregard the -1 after the turn, that indicates Sarcophagus is actually a +1 in two turns, which it's not. The main view of advantage is comparing your resources to your opponent's. Best case scenario is you use Treasure and return it to the deck (-1) and then you have to draw it again later and discard it (-1) to get any card from the graveyard to your hand(+1). Seeing as Exodia really shouldn't be running those in most cases anyways (weird milling builds notwithstanding), Pharoah's Trasure is retarded for Exodia decks. But you put it up for discussion and general consensus is that the flaws of the card make it very weak, slow, and inconsistent, and definitely not GOOD in an Exodia deck.
