This is yet another set from Smeagle. It's been a while since I've seriously done one so I wanted to throw this one out there.

The Ad Infinitum monsters are a set of thirteen. They represent thirteen godlike "engineers" that hammer the universe into existence and keep it running smoothly. Their powers are level-based; as there are thirteen of them, there is one for each level, not counting Zenith, who is Level 1 but whose level changes with the turn count. Zenith represents the shifting of twelve hours of a half-day (his attribute changes from LIGHT to DARK for night and day) and serves to keep the Turn Count between 1 and 12.

Ad Infinitum monster manipulate the turn count with their levels, and their levels with the turn count, so they can gain special effects from the turn count and use their level manipulation for ridiculous Synchro potential. Zenith and Equinox can use Turn Count to generate lolatk, while Dos and Duos can provide boosts and work for high-level Synchroing. Aurora is good for lockdowns, Cardinelle for beatdowns, while Thanatos draws cards to end games quickly, and Midlight is a good way to turn the tide of any fight. Temporus's effects can reset decks or destroy them, but you can survive and deprive your opponent of options by making use of Treice's graveyard effects. Prima is a focus of the Deck, since she can summon any "Ad Infinitum" monster, but you have to manipulate another monster's level to do that.

The key here is keeping an eye on the numbers. It's all about numbers. Every level matters and the Turn Count does too.

Also, the Ad Infinitum can delay the Final Countdown to the End of the World.

Prima, The First, the spark of creation. The endless life springs forth from her mind[

You can Tribute this monster to select 1 "Ad Infinitum" monster you control. Special Summon 1 "Ad Infinitum" monster from your Deck (or Extra Deck) with a different name, but the same Level, as the selected card.

Dos, Duos, the cosmic twins born of Prima's burning mind. Their mysteries of life sustain for eternity

If you control three or more monsters, you can select 1 "Ad Infinitum" monster you control with a Level of 6 or lower. Tribute all monsters except this card and the selected monster, then double the selected monster's Level and ATK until the end of the turn.

Treice, the third daughter, the splitting knife and cutter of threads. All life ends ultimately in her hand

When this card is sent to the Graveyard, select 1 card in your Graveyard. The turn count becomes equal to the Level of the selected monster. A monster that battles with this card has its effect negated while this card is in the Graveyard. You can remove this card in your Graveyard from play to select 2 "Ad Infinitum" cards and return them to the bottom of the Deck.

Cardinelle, she who charts the universe. Her paths are straight and lead on to eternity

When this card is Summoned, select 1 monster you control. The turn count becomes equal to that monster's Level. If a monster whose Level is equal to the turn count attacks, no effects can be activated in response. If this is the only "Ad Infinitum" monster you control, this card cannot attack.

Aurora, she who halts the minutes with her passing. Those who face her will not rejoin the living

When this card is Summoned, if the turn count is higher than 12, it becomes 1. While this card is on the field, the turn count will not advance. Monsters with a Level lower than the turn count (except this card) have their effects negated. This card inflicts Piercing Damage.

Midlight, the bringer of the new age. Orders fall to pieces are are remade in his iron hand.

You can halve this card's ATK to Normal Summon it without Tribute. When this card is summoned, if you control an "Ad Infinitum // Zenith, the XIII" and its Attribute is LIGHT, change its Attribute to DARK and make the turn count 1 to destroy all monsters your opponent controls. If its Attribute is DARK, change its Attribute to LIGHT and make the turn count 1 to Special Summon 1 "Ad Infinitum" monster from your Graveyard. If you do not control an "Ad Infinitum // Zenith the XIII," add 1 from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.

Thanatos, the reaver, Treice's razor, the end. Look upon his countenance and despair.

When the total Level of all monsters on the field is divisible by 7, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. (If you do this, remove it from play when it is removed from the field.) When this card is summoned, both players divide the total level of all monsters they control by 7 (round down), then draw that many cards. If this card attacks and neither it nor the attack target are destroyed, send the target to the Graveyard during the next Standby Phase.

Atalanta, the arrow of fate, mistress of the skies. She brings fortune and terror to friend and foe.

During your Main Phase 1, you can make the turn count any number from 1 through 12, then toss a coin and call it. If you call it right, you gain Life Points and your opponent loses Life Points equal to the turn count x200, and this card cannot attack this turn. If you call it wrong, you lose Life Points and your opponent gains Life Points equal to the turn count x200.

Occam, black spectre of time's shroud. His victims die not, they simply are not.

If this card's summon or attack is negated, your opponent must send cards equal to this card's Level from the top of their Deck to the Graveyard. During your opponent's Standby Phase, you can reduce this card's Level to 3 and have its attack become 0 to draw 3 cards.

Equinox, the balance of ultimate power. His time is short, his strength unmatched, his mission absolute.

This card can not be Fusion Summoned. This card can only be Special Summoned by returning the abovementioned Fusion-Material Monsters from your side of the field to the Deck (you do not use "Polymerization"). This card's ATK and DEF are equal to the product of the Levels of the Fusion Material Monsters x50. This card cannot be destroyed by a card effect unless it was targeted by another card effect in the same turn.

Mmemnosyne, the endless dreamer, the archiver. All that you know she has willed be known.

This card can attack while in Defense Position (its ATK is still applied for damage calculation.) When an "Ad Infinitum" monster declares an attack, you may declare a card name. Your opponent must remove a Monster Card in their hand or Deck with the selected name. This card gains ATK equal to half the removed monster's ATK. If this card would be removed from the field in Defense Position, change it to Attack Position instead.

Temporus, the endless. Before Prima and ever after, he watched, watches, and will watch.

If this card was Synchro Summoned, return all other cards on the field and in both player's Graveyards to the Deck, and the turn count becomes 1. If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of an "Ad Infinitum" monster, send all cards in both player's Decks to the Graveyard. The turn count becomes 0 for the rest of the duel, and your opponent may skip their Draw Phase.

Zenith, the essence of a moment. He is many, one and none and you will never meet him twice.

While this card is on the field, its Level is equal to the turn count. If this card's Level is 13 or higher, reset the turn count to 1 and change this card's Attribute to DARK. (If this card's attribute is already DARK, change it to LIGHT.) This card's ATK and DEF are equal to its Level x200.

That's the point with Atalanta. She can either break a stall player as a kill condition, or make it even harder to win. But she also changes the Turn Count to anything you want, which is important.

And Occam has to stay at 0 or he'd be a three-card-a-turn draw engine. As it is he functions as bait (to set your opponent up for a Trap Card like Magic Cylinder/Mirror Force) as well as Synchro fodder, since he is also a Tuner. Anything else would make him very OP'd.

Also, I just realized Thanatos would be limited before you could say "Activate CED's effect," because he can spam himself.
