Zenith Heaven
This is the advent of my Soul Monster expansion, and I picked this one mostly because it seemed the most balanced so far (the rest seem a bit OPed). The idea with Soul Monsters is that they are your "last resort/save your hide" kind of monsters, by having the added ability to "Soul Summon" themselves from the Extra Deck if you're in trouble. This effect is only for attacks, but still seems kinda OPed. I'd like feedback. VERSION 3 (Same effect as v2, just LV10 instead) VERSION 2 "Different Dimension Dragon" + "Spirit Ryu" + 1 Tuner Monster You can only have 1 Soul-Type monster in your Deck. If an attack from your opponent would reduce your Life Points to 0, you can remove the Synchro Material Monsters from your Graveyard to negate the attack and Soul Summon this card from your Extra Deck. If this monster is destroyed as a result of battle, you can Soul Summon it to the field in Defense Position during the End Phase. If this monster was Soul Summoned, increase its ATK by 500. VERSION 1 "Different Dimension Dragon" + "Spirit Ryu" + 1 Tuner Monster You can only have 1 Soul-Type monster in your Deck. If an attack from your opponent would reduce your Life Points to 0, you can negate the attack and Soul Summon this card from your Extra Deck. If this card was Soul Summoned and is destroyed as a result of battle, you can Soul Summon it to the field in Defense Position. Every time this card is Soul Summoned, increase its original ATK by 500. Q: Is the Synchro Summon of this monster hard enough that I can switch the effect to be "If this card [s]was Soul Summoned and[/s] is destroyed as a result of battle"? Q: Is its original ATK and DEF ok? Q: Should the ATK it gains be just ATK, not original ATK? Q: Should the ATK gained be a different amount? Q: Is this card vulnerable enough to counterattack? (i.e. DEF stays the same, can still be destroyed by effects) Or should I try to nerf it? Thank you for your time.
Circéus
The idea is interesting, but it you've essentially created a splashable extra deck card. It's a staple that does not take room int the deck. So yeah, in that regard I would definitely call it overpowered. It needs an extra something so it loses the splashability and works only at least in some deck types (maybe reduce its attack and increase it based on number of certain types of card in the graveyard or something along those lines? Make it unable to attack? Drop the reviving?). I'm also not sure "Soul Summon" needs to be used in the card effect: just "Special summon" and "if special summoned by its/this effect" should be enough IMHO (yes, I loathe the Magic keyword style of card effect writing). ragnarok1945
interesting to see Different Dimension Dragon being used again the atk DOES return to 2000 each time it gets destroyed in battle, right? If not it'd be broken

marcher boyz
All I have to do is run 2 terrible cards that I probably won't even draw and I get to sack my opponent with Gorz's even stupider cousin? NO. Also, use "banish" instead of "remove". 1. NO. 2. HAHAHA NO. Try 1400/1400 or something less insane. 3. It makes the game more confusing if it's an original atk increase. 4. Eh, seems fine. 5. NERF THIS FOOL. 6. Seems eh, Vayu and Sirocco are better.

Just to let you know.
Yes, and thank you. I'd like to ask you, though: Stardust Dragon -an official card- has the same level, similar ATK and DEF, and a similar ability. The card's v2 effect does not increase the original ATK, and is only true if it is Soul Summoned. It also forces you to have those two cards in your deck, as opposed to two others you could have had. marcher boyz
But Stardust's a -1 in card advantage 90% of the time. (not a real percentage) k, as I said seems fine You don't play all the cards in your deck most games. Even if you get them both in hand, it's only a -1 to fader/ gorz your opponent. Btw, soul guy's level should be more than 9 as ryu's 4 and d.d. dragon's a 5.

marcher boyz
It's a smaller Colossal Fighter that you summon with a Vayu-like ability. Seems cool, using up those dead glow-up bulbs and spores I guess.
