Akira
( 12 ) 5 Exodia 3 Battle Fader 3 Emissary of the Afterlife 1 Sangan ( 11 ) 3 Upstart Goblin 2 Messenger of Peace 2 Gold Sarcophagus 1 Level Limit - Area B 1 Swords of Revealing Light 1 Dark Hole 1 Monster Reborn ( 17 ) 3 Legacy of Yata Garasu 3 Reckless Greed 3 Metal Reflect Slime 3 Skill Drain 2 Jar of Greed 2 Threatening Roar 1 Gravity Bind It may look ridiculous but this deck can be difficult to beat. The idea is Once Skill Drain + any of Reflect Slime, Gravity Bind etc are on the field, the opponent's only option is to hope that they draw back row removal or pull off something like a Black Rose/Book of Moon combo. Without siding my deck is usually 50/50 with this, though I'm gonna get him to side 3X Twister for the inevitable Decree users. We've tested and refined this a lot, making several tweaks here and there so if you think something looks out of place I'll explain it to you. He's confident to use this for the UK Nationals Dragon Duel =)
marcher boyz
How long does it take to win? If it goes into time, it will lose.
Akira
It's fairly quick. Unless his opponents are deliberately being slow (in which case I told him to take appropriate actions), most of his turns consist of "draw, set, pass".
Akira
Bump for ideaz, shall we play Sarc at 3? inb4 duality, its obvious that he doesn't have the budget
marcher boyz
play final countdown instead
Akira
he doesn't want to lol, he doesn't care about winning he just wants to troll some people to the max who will be taken off guard by this rogue deck then get pissed for losing to it
Ieyasu Tokugawa
play final countdown instead
Exodia is faster.
marcher boyz
This has more decisions and actions so they're about equal in therms of speed. However, countdown is more consistent and doesn't need so much stuff on the field to work. The kid who placed second in the euros dragon duel and first in uk nats is probably playing worms, which will raep this horribly.
Akira
What do worms revolve around? I've been out of the game for ages
marcher boyz
In relation to this deck, they revolve around Ananta, Offerings to the Snake Deity and Xex + Birdman into BRD.
Akira
kay well he sides bribes to counter stuff that might destroy his defence, we'll see how it goes
Yeezus
You could use Limit Reverse and Call for some shenanigans with Sangan and Emissary
Akira
emissary is 1600 so limit reverse would only be good for sangan, maybe call tho
arkel
Housekeeping + Provisions? Or that continuous trap that prevents other traps from being destroyed? Super lulzy with slime. Also -3 Battle Fader +3 Swift Scarecrow -1 SoRL +1 Sarc
Akira
Housekeeping + Provisions? Or that continuous trap that prevents other traps from being destroyed? Super lulzy with slime. Also -3 Battle Fader +3 Swift Scarecrow -1 SoRL +1 Sarc
housekeeping provisions is funny but inconsistent/unreliable scarecrow does dodge warning but fader stops an extra attack (shock horror), I guess they're interchangeable we like swords cos it trolls flip effects when combined with skill drain (I had 2 rykos set ready to destroy him when I eventually drew MST then he played swords and I was like FUUUUUUUUUU) still would be nice to make room for another sarc tho

marcher boyz
that's why you play countdown instead of this, so you don't have to give up extra defense for your win condition
