NONSENSICAL! You've let no one down! That's still a very unique effect and I've actually never seen a monster card that destroys itself upon getting to many counters. Overall I think it's a nice addition to the set but what I REALLY wanna see now is that Proto Soul Devourer!

Cassandra's effect is quite original, I like it. Minor OCG errors though. There should be quotes or apostrophe's around Corruption Counter I would post a OCG fix but I'm on my iPad so copying and pasting I'd annoying on some websites...
9/10 can't wait to see Proto-Spirit Devourer.

The red eyes and similar hair colors for Cassandra and Proto were a surprise even for me, as I did not expect to find such a wonderfully fitting image. I shall add the proper punctuation to Cassandra's effect in a moment.

given it can go up to 2900 atk before the next counter kills it, you should have lowered Cassandra's atk a bit

it IS only lv6, so maybe drop it down to 2000 instead?

I would, but the purpose of her high ATK is that she grows into a frighteningly powerful being only to self destruct eventually. There are too many forms of removal for her to be considered too difficult to take care of early. Also, after Proto Devourer has its effect form, I'll create another Hunter.

You could also simply make it lvl 7 if it's THAT much of a problem. Also, in a world where we have four star monsters that can start with 2000+atk I think the atk/def to level frequencies have been messed up for awhile
