OT: Slendermans effect is not very slendy... or good for that matter :/ Its kinda mean to call jay cowardly dont you think? And his effect doesnt make sense. Negs are serious and not to be played with so freely. Get used to negative judgments. They will come once in a while. Everyone gets them. The only people commenting on this are new members, fans of slenderman, and notice how they didnt rate. Thats just their way of being nice. Im not trying to stop you from making cards. I critiqued your cards in the areas which i think you need help in so you can see them and understand. I apologize that your peers dont make very good cards either. The pop culture section is the laughing stock of YCM. Knowing that, i stay here and make decent cards to try to change that. I was just insulted that you would call these cards slenderman cards. Not to be rude, but if you click on one of my sets in my signature you can see some decent cards for insparation, or go to strawberry-ni-chans pinned sticky thread and go to the dual types thread. The characters and the Slender Man are a part of the Slender Man Mythos, therefore, once again, they are slenderman cards, therefore, your argument is invalid. I think slenderman is really frikkin cool, like for real, and seeing these cards is just like wth? Do you even play yugioh IRL? and by play i mean play in serious tournaments? Not like summoning monsters in face-up defense position n stuff? because your card effects dont really resemble the effects made by someone who plays, and i say that because slenderman is completely useless. Why did you make slenderman useless? If you dont think its useless i'll tell you why: 1) takes two sacs and cant attack the turn its summoned (BAD) 2) blue eyes white dragon is a really crappy card, and this card is worse than blue eyes (BAD) 3) you dont need that second effect because no one is going to summon a monster thats stronger than 3000 ATK points. If you want to take this as insulting then fine. Im just criticizing your cards, or is it not "encouraged"? Just know that by making slenderman useless you made me sad and angry. metaleaddy Posted June 21, 2011 Author Report Share Posted June 21, 2011 Can I explain the reasons for each effect? 1st Effect is for the reference to to the actual Mythos, which Slendy does not attack in the beginning, but does later on. Second effect is to protect it from cards with higher attack such as Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Five Headed Dragon, things that could easily overpower it. And the 3000 attack is for invulnerability for any weak monsters to prance around and kill it. And, what other effects do you have in mind?
