This is supposed to be the biggest support for the human type for my card library (which consists of Human, Demi-human, and Demon). The basis for this deck is that you use magic cards to power up your monsters through magic counters, which is a weakness in itself, but very powerful if the opponent cannot counter. I don't wanna hear nothing about "oh, you used the wrong terminology here" or "Oh, there's no Set ID." As long as you can understand what the card does and it's not missing something important then there's really no need to say anything about it. I made a madoka deck(broken in terms of tcg) as well and i want to use some of the pictures you posted. Goddess Madoka: Using three cards from your hand only to make Goddess into play seems not that worthy. Nor it may not seem to be very great representation to express her wish in episode 12, which is to destroy all "witches" before their "appearance" in the past, today and future, although I admit that it might be tough in terms of writing effects. Gertrud: So I would like to ask: 1)How many times a player might use this effect? 2)Is it mean that a player can actually have at least "2 card" advantage by using this effect once? Kyubei: Effects seems to be OK in terms of OCG standard. I really wonder that isn't Kyubei a neutral character that it doesn't involve in any battles and the wishes made by the potential magical girls? [/quote] Kyubei=Lawful Evil, he doesn't just destroy your planet for kicks, he's doing it because he needs your energy. Think of him as more of a character that won't be hostile to you if there's no need for him to be. Goddess Madoka can be summoned from anywhere, the deck, the graveyard, the hand, even out of play (Think Chaos Emperor Dragon). She gains 200 ATK for every out of play (aka Magical Girls cleansed), she can also remove Magical Girl cards from play in order to destroy a card on the field, an effect that can be used as many times as needed. She's an insanely powerful card in a deck that's supposed to be full of Magical Girl cards, albeit a little more difficult than usual to summon. Gertrud's effect does seems a little overpowered now so I'll switch it to once per turn during your main phase 1. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

However, it never use any moves in any battles on the battles described in animes, nor it is trying to defeat Homura when she is trying to hunt Kyubei (although Kyubei claims that it is meaningless to "kill" Kyubel because it has infinite substitutes). It might be OK to consider it as a monster in terms of its ability, of course, and I have seem many forms of DIY monsters named "Kyubei", what I doubt in here is only the "combat" ability of Kyubei. (PS: It might be fine to define the combat ability of Kyubei is from the attack of newly formed magical girls, or the magical girls considering Kyubei as her, for example, life saver. (MAMI~~) ) Goddess: I admit it could be, it just depends on how the player use it. I am just thinking whether it is worth to just summoning around 3000 attack monster with three cards, and it can destroy cards only by 1:1 trading. [/quote] Goddess takes cards out of the graveyard to destroy cards on the field, so it's a very powerful effect that also increases the power of Goddess. It should also be worth mentioning that she enters the field with at least 3400 ATK (due to 2 cards needed to be put out of play to summon her) and that her effect also counts the opponent's out of play pile. Kyubei absorbs the life energy of witches through the grief seed/demon seed, so it's very possible that he can use this power at his own will when he wishes it. The main reason why he doesn't attack Akemi Homura though is that he wants to remain cute and cuddly until Madoka becomes a Puella Magi. Plus, it's so obvious that Kyubei = Demon with how he throws around wanting to make a contract and how he rips out your eternal soul to make it into a gem. He does have the effect of having a magical girl beside him though (Kyubei lv10 summons a magical girl token and Kyubei lv100 summons the lv8 or higher monster used to summon it). krazyxgamer Posted June 7, 2011 Report Share Posted June 7, 2011 pretty coo, you have lots, some ppl don't like fake types here FYI i think it would work with just Spellcaster for the "Human" and Fiend for the "Demon" i didn't read most of the effects because there were too many cards, but i saw all of them, like the ideas, kinda overdoing it IMO in some parts of it, but it's ok also not a lot of people like the "Divine" cards most of the pics are excellent so there's not much to say about that also we call magic cards Spell Cards now your OCG could use work, but it's mostly understandable so i'm not gonna say much overall i enjoyed your set Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This also allows me to interweave the cards that I make into their own complex strategies. As for the Divine Element, I use it sparingly and it's something that Goddess Madoka really is when you think about her character, so I felt it almost necessary to give it to her. I'm really glad you liked the cards and yeah, I had made them over the entirety of the series, so you can kind of notice my OCG (aka spell & magic) change along with it. However, in defining the type of YuGiOh monsters, sometimes you can really see how YuGiOh's original settings failed to include some of what they have made into "proper" types. For example, YuGiOh defines HAMBURGER, PRIATE SHIP, one of the MUSHROOM as "WARRIORS". Also, for one of the miserable girl who earns a living for selling matches, and the "MUSICIAN KING", YuGiOh defines them as "MAGICIANS"(spellcasters) I admit that usually most of the YuGiOh monsters who are human-type without being bad, they will be defined as MAGICIANS. And who are at least would do or think something bad, they will be defined as FIENDS. For the naming of the cards, for me, some of these names are quite ... "general". I means for the names like "Last Wish", "Honorable Sacrifice", and "True Power", they can be explained in many ways, not only in the language of Puella's. YuGiOh OCG Cards include some cards which are made by this way (eg. "Last Resort"), but it would be better if you can use the names which can only have limited ways to explain, or generalize the effect of these cards, without affecting the ideas of these cards. [/quote] In a way, the card's name, picture, and effect, go into describing the lore about a card. I've never felt that having a long name makes a card better in any way, and like you say, even the TCG doesn't really like to have really long descriptive names when it isn't necessary.
