To water it down (and make it somewhat better in the realm of OCG without taking away its flavor), I'd suggest making it a continuous spell card and giving it this effect: When you control three "Atom" Spell Cards on your side of the field, you may sacrifice them to Special Summon one monster from your hand or deck. Three atoms because, face it, we're not mono-atomic beings. And three is the limit, and this card might be OP, but this might be a good fix to start off with.
