So this thread has absolutely nothing to do with religion... Or at least until everyone decided it was lol.

Yes -er whatever your name is. You made me mad and I made a thread about your ignorance. Well aren't you honored <3

People accuse me of this all the time. Still, I remain adamant on my stance that "gravity" (more like crap-ity ) is actually just a large magnet under the earth's surface that attracts all matter within range.

Um. Yes. That's how it works 030

Actually Einstein described it the best as gravity is like a well shaped like a well that's why black hole effects are called gravity wells where as the further you are the slope of the well is significantly less resulting in less force of gravity and the power of gravity increases exponentially as you close in on the object. The scale and power of these effects are baed on mass thus it is also shown as with more mass you create deep holes empowering the effects. Magnets are certainly viable for basic understanding for ones own-self but its not accepted by anyone because the magnets do not follow the rules aside from attraction, but as far as a device for understanding how gravity works its perfectly acceptable. *eats a piece of cheesecake* ^_^

Sry i saw that and I just had to correct you, call me out if you wish.

If gravity is shaped like a well, why don't we fall in it? And as far as black holes are concerned, I don't believe in anything we can't see.

The ground is supporting us.

So wind must be a myth as well?

Your misunderstanding the concept there is no real z-axis in gravity wells its representative of force of attraction. You don't believe in black holes? So whats in the center of the universe? Whats that periodic force absorbing stars? You don'tbeleive what you can't see is understand able but I think don't believe what you can't prove is better. We have proof of black holes. Does air exist? We can't see it. Do photons and atoms exist? We can't see them (well techinquely we can but thats outside the point). What about radiation and, well... gravity? you can't see gravity.

I was joking. But we actually can see all of the things you listed.

So gravity's a manmade object?
[/quote]

Clever. But no. The numbers on a scale are a visual representation of gravity. Through this, we can physically see that gravity is real.

As far as I can tell, that's just showing how hard the air from the sky is pushing down on us.

This isn't as easy as you'd think.

As far as I can tell, you're resorting to an invalid method of debating. I'm done hijacking this thread.
