Intro event:
Hunters invade Rebell base. Once this is finished, ill move on to roleplay number 2

They day it all begun was a day of celebration in the city of San Francisco. The Giants had just won the world series and in celebration and Kaiba Corp decided to use this event as an excuse to promote Dueling. A tournament was to be held on the Golden Gate bridge, barriers set up to keep cards from driving through. At first, the tournament seemed like it would be a sucess. Round after round was completed, the best players moving up in the ranks until finally it had come to the final round. The final duel was a brilliant display of sheer power, and while the crowd was focused on the battle.....It happened. A large fleet of spaceships entered Earth's atmosphere just above California, hundreds of ships flying down onto the tournament, blowing up the bridge altogether. Everybody on the bridge died that night. The aliens that caused the event were called the "hunters" by the rest of the universe. They spread out throughout the United States and eventually the world, destroying everything in their path. Conventional weapons were useless against them and eventually cast aside. They were a muscular, technologically advanced, and nearly invincible race. Why should guns work? The military failing, the world turned to a new technology that was in development, the very secret that was guarded for decades in Area 51. It was a specialn technology which revolved around duelmonsters. A watch of sorts. The owner of each watch could scan up to three cards into the device and transform into the creatures at will. They called it the "D.R.D" or Duel Reality Device. This proved far more effective. Armed with this technology, the surviving humans put together a resistence. Though, even with this new technology, they were still at a dis-advantage. The more powerful the card used, the bigger the strain it put on their body and if they stayed transformed for too long, they died, stronger monsters having a lower time limit. Electricity, communications, and civilization now destroyed, the resistence and other remaining survivors now live in fear, scavenging supplies and hiding from the Hunters. Will they survive?[/spoiler]

2. You cannot rp overcoming the strain, and the more powerful the monster, the more powerful the strain
3. No Highly Advanced weapons other then the D.R.D if you are a human. The world's in an apocalyptic stage. It'd be impossible to get ahold of it.

[spoiler=Alien Plot/Applications]
You are based in San Francisco, the place where the invation began. You're a human-like creature with gigantic muscles, immunity to guns, and the ability to shift your hands into claws when needed. Your basic weapons are energy swords, lasor guns, and a high-tech armor that protects your from most damage. Currently, you are preparing for the final few battles against the resistence, hoping to crush them and colonize this planet to replace your dieing planet back home. You hate the humans with all your heart for trying to prevent the survival of your race. As soon as you finish preparing, you take a transport to the supposed Rebell base and attempt to invade along with the rest of your race.

These powerful aliens are the alfa-dogs of their kind. They have their own version of the D.R.D and have complete command over the Hunter army.
Alien Soldier(Multiple):[i]none yet[/i]
You're the bulk of the alien military. You have basic lasor weapons or a one-sided lasor blade and must obey the commanders.
Hunter Elite(3):
These guys are incredibly powerful. Unlike the rest of their kind, their muscles are incredibly small. They use double-bladed lasor swords and are masters of hand-to-hand combat. They are normally inclined to fight the more powerful units of the Resistence.

[spoiler=Human Application/plot]
Humans can either be survivors or a part of the resistence. They invented the D.R.D, so most people at the time have them, though cards to scan are rare. They can only start out with one basic card and later on they can find others.(Must pm me about this so I can approve any other cards you collect). If you are a part of the resistence, you have gathered intelligence that the Hunters are preparing to invade your base and you must do everything you can to prime your defenses. Setting up turrets, setting up walls, D.R.D training exercises, etc. can be a part of the preparation. Your base is in the mountainous seirra nevada, giving you a territorial advantage, though it may not help very much. Survivors can either have very basic D.R.Ds or guns. They're scattered about the states and are very low on supplies. They travel about scavenging supplies and often get into quarrels with other groups of survivors, the need of supplies often leading to murder.

Classes:
Resistence Commander(1-3): [i]PGR, [/i]
This class gets the best of the cards scavenged for their D.R.Ds and may start out with three cards. They have complete command over the resistence and can use up to level 7 monsters to fight with, though most use monsters at around level 5 because they put out less strain.
Resistence Soldier:[i]None Yet[/i]
This class makes up the bulk of the resistence. They each have D.R.Ds, but start out with only 1 card and they have a maximum of 2, considering these are lower-class devices. The maximum level monsters they can use is level 5.
Survivor:[i]none yet[/i]
These people are scattered across the planet, some as slaves, some trying to survive, others helping out the resistence whenever they can. They may have any number of regular guns and steel blades or a D.R.D with a maximum of one monster at lvl 4. They're always quarreling with each other and all-out wars break out over supplies and shelter, leading to an even lower survivor count

Character Bio: Tetsu Dobei was the only know survivor of the Golden Gate Tournament and founder of the human resistence. He has a large scar going across his left eye which also has a white pupil, signifying that he's blind there. After battling his way through the invasion with his duel disk and deck in hand, he made his way out of the state and into Nevada before the invasion had spread. There, he was invited into Area 51 and given the world's first D.R.D, a prototype, because they were sure a survivor of the invasion could easily handle it. As soon as the invasion spread into Nevada, he fled North-East into Wyoming. There, he hid until finally he could stand it no more. He quickly rallied a group of men from a near-by city and brought them on a war campaign all the way back to California, steathily evoiding or fighting through alien invasion teams as he went. After a few years of losing, he and a few other men began making crude copies of teh D.R.D, distributing his old cards out to the solidiers. Eventually, his army grew.

*Tetsu looked out upon the Nevada sky, the strange device in hand. It was time for testing. Reaching into his pocket, he pulls out a canister holding his deck and flickedut two cards: Chaos Sorcerer and Vanity's Fiend. Reaching for his most powerful card, he accidentally dropped a weak lvl 3 monster onto the scanner. He was screwed. Hoping his first two monsters would suffice in surviving, he reachesdver to the watch and typed n a quick command, Chaos Sorcerer showing up on the screen. Clicking down on the screen, a flash of light exploded out of the D.R.D, causing an extreme change in his body. His muscles moved about him likes ants on a piece of cake, scrambling into different places as the re-arranged themselves to match the build-up of his card. His D.R.D changing into a staff, his clothes re-stich themselves into a mage's armor. He was his favorite card. Lifting the staff into the air, he allows a bolt of lightining to erupt out of it and into the sky. This was it. He could fight back.*
Appearance:He's around the average height an adult male should be. He has battles cars all over his body, including his left eye, which is a greyish white color. He wears a blue commander's uniform that used to belong to the United States army and a D.R.D on his wrist. Due to the radiation of alien weapons, his hair has migrated into a strange blue color, giving his look a strange feel. At his side, he wears a closed Duel Disk, the very one he used the day the aliens arrived.

Character Bio: A descendant of the ancient Ishtar family, Lloyd wasn't there when the Golden Gate Tournament Event happened so he was somewhat safe. Lloyd doesn't ever care but should the world be at stake he's willing to give his all to fight back. Lloyd was one of the selected by Tetsu Dobei to go to war with the Aliens, Lloyd hasn't ever been a leader or co - leader of anything, but this is his time to shine. Before "The Event" Lloyd was a very adept duelist and is confident that he will be a very advanced D.R.D Wielder. He's never had direct combat with a real Alien but has trained with his D.R.D. well.
Sample rp: Lloyd wasn't a very well known Duelist, but he thought that would all change if he entered the Golden Gate Tournament. He had no bike, automobile, or friends that could escort him. Walking was his only choice for now at least. Lloyd began his long walk with a huge sigh of discomfort, his deck always on his right side. He turned around to see how far he was from his starting point and realized he made no progress, he began running as fast as he could. Stepping into multiple but shallow mud puddles he stopped in a dark alley not far from his destination. He looked up and saw that night was coming earlier than usual, the sun shrouded in clouds. But he had no time to stop and wander around so he began running again. By the time he had finally found some civilization, night fell and Lloyd checked the skies again, "Huh?" he said to himself. He knew that something was awkward about today. Up above hidden in the clouds he noticed faintly but light green circles forming a triangle in the sky spinning about. He ignored what it was and kept going, he came to a lot of traffic, not cars but people and he knew he was never getting on the bridge. He started walking back home, it felt as if he were being followed. He turned around swiftly to see if it were true, but it was all his imagination so he thought he crossed through the dark alley, before he had time for his eyes to adjust to the total darkness, a photon blast hit right next to him, he was flying through the air and landed next to an abandoned building. He blacked out...
Appearance: Lloyd has black spiky hair and tries to steal Yami Marik's appearance. Lloyd always wears a dark blue cape, tan pants, and a purple-ish tucked in shirt. He wears black boots and a black belt with a Yugioh Card for a buckle. His face is clear of wrinkles or acne, the only thing to distinguish him from other Marik look-a-likes is the scar on his forehead. No tattoos on his back or anywhere else for that matter.
