Danny Gambino
Shuda just made a new topic linking to this :/That would have been spamming. Anyway, I was about to go back and preface my argument with the disclaimer that I am assuming that you actually have the chance to use any of these cards, since in most cases they can be eliminated before they become a significant threat in the first place. Legend Zero
I can't believe somebody who rivals the great ReBeL in idiocy actually exist.

Plus Winged Beasts have support like Icarus Attack, and Piscu doesn't miss timing. And no, starting a new topic would not have been spamming. You're still discussing the cards of the game. A redundant topic is, by any forum I have ever been on, considered spam. In any case, I choose to ignore the possibility of removal from my comparisons due to the simple fact that if I did not, then any monster not specifically immune to removal could be considered more or less useless. Yes, removal happens. It has happened since the first set. However, it can happen to most monsters, so it doesn't have much relevance to their comparative power. Ieyasu Tokugawa
A redundant topic is, by any forum I have ever been on, considered spam. We've had much more redundant topics than this one. If it isn't on the second page of topics, you might get away with it. If it isn't on the third page, it's fine.
Danny Gambino
It does when if it's removed it nukes your opponent's monsters. That may be so, but that only makes Piscu better on the first turn. Assuming any amount of time on the field exceeding the Battle Phase of the turn it is summoned, it becomes increasingly sub-optimal. Grant you that's not saying much in a subset of cards that are already put at a disadvantage as far as their requirements go. However, on the level playing field of their shared characteristics, it remains true that Piscu's effect can be shrugged off, and becomes comparatively less of an offset to its low power with each turn it remains in play. In one specific circumstance it may be better, but in all others it is worse. Also, it's only useful in the first place if your opponent has a relatively full field. Ieyasu Tokugawa
Or it's useful by using Icarus Attack/Swallows Nest during your opponent's turn and swinging for game next turn. And 2500 can still wreak a bit of havok. Full on power isn't always the way to go.
Guest Okami - Shiranui
No one ever said that the EBIs were good. They aren't. All we said was that, of them all, Piscu was the best one. Piscu is still bad, which means that the others are even worse.

Also, it's only useful in the first place if your opponent has a relatively full field. It's still almost a guaranteed +1 or better when removed. Opponent plays card that removes it in any way (bar deck) so that's a 1 for 1 so far a net gain of 0 (-1 if battle). Ok, could be better could be worse. Then it nukes everything your opponent has. That makes this card almost always a minimum of a +0 when destroyed, very likely being higher with the meta the way it is, and the burn helps further. Also, referring to your post: "Cards like Cyber Kirin or Rainbow Life get together with Dark Hole, Lightning Vortex, and other removal to laugh at this card" No good player will use any of these except Dark Hole. Everything else has already been said in the posts that ninja'd me.
Danny Gambino
That's fair, Mirror, but Winged Beast doesn't have the market cornered on support. Also, if we wanted to go into all the different combos, there are lots of ways to use the others that are just as good. It all depends on situation, strategy, and individual deck construction. As for Tristan, I will simply state that "No good player will use any of these except Dark Hole." is a gross generalization and leave it at that. Perhaps I was a bit to adamant in my initial post, and painted things in black and white. However, the point I was making remains. If you have the opportunity to use an Earthbound Immortal beyond just playing it as a bomb, the others have the potential to surpass Piscu. Personally, I favour Rasca out of any of them, due to the potential to disrupt an opponent's strategy, and its effect leaving you with a stronger monster if it goes off. I do agree that there are better cards than these for the same purposes. However, I feel it was worth mention that it isn't always about the biggest bomb any more than it is about the biggest beating stick.

So, you're agreeing with me? Assuming "gross" meaning overall, at least. And assuming that you have the brain power to notice how horrible the other cards you listed are.
