1 Fairy-Type Tuner monster + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Synchro Summon. Once per turn: Discard 1 Spell or Trap Card; Take control of 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Its effect is negated. Tribute 1 monster your opponent owns that you control; negate the activation of an opponent's Spell or Trap Card and destroy it.

2 Level 8 monsters

If the card is broken, blame the source material, which is most definitely broken in more than one way. Not in Pop Culture because it doesn't quite fit the bill for that... still have to remake my old Wonderland Archetype <_< Made a Synchro and a Xyz one because... I prefer Synchros, yet the black fits the picture a little better.

Don't listen to the critics! Alice: Madness Returns is awesome stuff!

xyz version would seem to be harder to summon no ?
Just a little, getting out 2 random Level 8s isn't all that hard nowadays.

Discard Spell or Trap for Synchro is still cheap for me.
Well, what do you suggest would be a more appropriate cost for Mind Control-esque effect?
The Xyz is fine
Okay, thanks...

Xyz is relatively harder than synchro because you would have to spam summoning to get to two level 8's while Agent Earth + 3 shine balls is a quick 8. But I like it either way I think the effects are balanced since you never want to discard spell cards if you don't have to.
Actually, the Synchro is a Level 10. You could go: Earth -> Hyperion -> Destroy stuff -> Synchro -> Steal stuff (discard a dead Duality or Cards from the Sky or something) -> Attack for teh win. That's the initial plan... though Agents can probably also go without it.

I will review only the synchro because I[s] am lazy[/s] I know nothing about XYZ's

I gotta get used to the New OCG :/

Anyways OCG looks Fine.
Pic is Great.
Effect is Good but a little bit OP.

Otherwise great card ^^ 9.6/10

Btw What awesomeness are we celebrating? lol

Emh . lets see. I have no idea what make this balanced, when it is Synchro has permanent contrbaol ability. I can't think any balance cost for this but. Gain 1 monster with cost 1 monster you control is balanced??. Banish or Tribute is no problems, thats i can suggest.

I haven't used this account in forever and I logged in just to comment on this post and be the first one to say YAY MADNESS RETURNS. Just beat the game on Nightmare difficulty yesterday. Awesome game. <3

Anyway, some on-topic-ness to avoid spam. Neat card. I like the Xyz more than the Synchro. The Synchro is a bit OP'ed because of, as stated above, its constant ability to take control of monsters. At least it has a limit in the Xyz form.

Lastly, to reiterate the seemingly obvious, YAAAY ALICE.

The awesomeness that is "Alice: Madness Returns", the successor to the 11 year-old video game adaptation "American McGee's Alice", based on the famous classic novel "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll. Yes, the effect is still a little strong, maybe I'm going to give the monster you took control over something like "If the monster you took control over this way attacks, destroy it at the end of Damage Step". Sounds good to me.

Is the above suggestion okay with you?

Only beat it on Normal and now have to let it sink a little. Once that's done, I guess I'll complete the 100% on Normal, and if I feel like it start out on hard. Are there any major differences aside from the monster's strength?

Well yeah, but it is extremely unlikely that any card remains longer than 2 turns on the field in the current Meta, so the difference isn't that huge.

Actually, I barely noticed any difference between Normal and Nightmare. Enemies' attacks do a little bit more damage (3 roses-ish per hit, so it's not impossible), and I think they might have a bit more health. Besides that, though, there really wasn't any difference. Enemy numbers were the same, obviously all the platforming was the same, so yeah. It wasn't too bad. :)
