Read the last post I made about GAK, I will not reveal more. Though I like SD, I think he would not be successful as a moderator, Sander is not active enough, and DJ would be good, until he gets off his Computer to do something other than go dancing and get Smashed. :P (DJ knows I'm joking)

That said, I support the people who aren't going to make a big deal out of this, the people who aren't being ignorant. If George insults someone, which I'm certain he is on the verge of doing, then I will argue his foolishness. If GAK must state that this is a bad idea, then I will prove to him that the negative comment is only helping what he doesn't want to happen.

Now' date=' this is what I think is the most... *palmface* thing that has been said. The older members are in the council for a reason, though I will admit, that I respect you and SD more than all of the other younger members.

 

Why should an older member be a moderator?

 

- Broader understanding of life in general

- More developed decision making skills

- Lack of innocence, the ability to realize an indirect comment, and tell the difference between something that was said to be offensive and something that could be interperted as offensive, but wasn't implyed in such a way.

- For the better half of us, the ability to not take personal comments, especially ones from the internet, personally.

- Grammar and Spelling.

- Diplomacy skills.

 

I think I have enough reasons, though I will admit, some of them can apply to a [b']SMALL[/b] number of younger members, and to you and SD if anyone else.

When did this become about banning kids due to yugioh knowledge? I have avoided the direct subjects of this matter, but I will say now, that the only yugioh related change that needs to be made is a "Meta Deck" sub section in the Deck section, and a "MetaCG" sub section in TCG, so people can stop being insulting each other.

 

That really should work.
