Bring on the Singularity!

The Dissolver subtype is going even better than planned! However, a new issue is at hand: the new effect format. As anyone who follows me on a regular basis knows, my preferred OCG format dates back to roughly 2005. I haven't really made an effort to keep up until now. This is my first attempt at using the new OCG.

5 turns after the activation of this card: All non-Machine, Fiend, Zombie, and Rock-type monsters are also treated as Machine-type monsters for the remainder of the duel.

I'm guessing 5 turns, kind like how Final Countdown would work. And that since it says "also" that they are machines in addition to other types.

OT: OCG seems good, pic could have been better though. 8/10

You're right on the effect, but the pic is actually from Cory Doctorow's seminal Singularity novel Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom.

Hrm. Adding a type onto a card without changing it's mechanics in it's own deck. Used properly, this could result in some devastating combos. The 5-turn countdown would give it the drawback of latent activation, but could also let your opponent forget about it until you use it again. So, I think this is a pretty good card.

Out of curiosity, why did you pick those four types out of all of them? Machine, Fiend, Zombie, Rock? How are they connected?

Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom concerns people that have various mechanical enhancements, allowing them to essentially live forever. Machine, Fiend, Zombie, Rock are what I consider the "inorganic" types. Fiend is a bit fuzzy, but the rest aren't necessarily living to begin with. There isn't a life to enhance, so to speak. That and it's a bit of a balancing thing.
