I Totally Just Learned Something New

So I've always been a fan of the 2000 Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34). Living in the US, you won't see any unless you are really lucky. For those of you who don't know much about cars, the Nissan Skyline is an imported car from Japan, with the exception of the few Skylines they sell here in America that take on the Infiniti G37 body style because Infiniti is American-made.

Now, I'm sure many people know all about the Nissan GT-R (R35) that is sold in America (as well as in other countries). While I was browsing online trying to find 2000 Skylines for sale, I had a thought about the new GT-Rs. Before I paid any attention to the R34 and R35, I thought they were two different cars. Technically, they aren't. Officials say the R35 dropped the Skyline badge.

Final Summation:
The Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) and the Nissan GT-R (R35) are sister cars; the R35 obviously being the next generation.

I find this disappointing, actually.
