Glogatha
This monster cannot be destroyed as a result of battle. If this card is in your graveyard during your Standby-Phase, it is Special Summoned to the field in attack mode. Once per turn, select a monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the selected monster cannot be tributed. Your opponent cannot declare an attack unless they Banish two cards from the top of their deck. When the selected monster is destroyed, your opponent may draw a card.
DARKPLANT RISING
Frognarchs get to run 6 Treeborn. F*** no. Well, apart from the OCG I don't care a s*** about, This monster cannot be destroyed as a result of battle. If this card is in your graveyard during your Standby-Phase, it is Special Summoned to the field in attack mode. Select a monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the selected monster cannot be tributed and may not attack or change positions. when the selected monster is destroyed, your opponent may draw a card. This card cannot be Tributed. THAT's fine.

DARKPLANT RISING
Frognarchs. Of course you know about the Monarchs, right? Caius, Raiza, Mobius, etc... they all have nice +1 effects, and can kill most low-level s*** thrown at you. Especially Caius, which is ran in many a decks. Frognarch is a deck abusing Monarchs via Treeborn Frog. They run minimum Traps (usually only Tretcherous Trap Hole or something) and rely on Treeborn to bring out Monarchs without the required -1 tribute. Fishborg Blaster can also be added to every turn remake your hand using Formula Synchron, and then go for LV 8 Synchros like Scrap Dragon. Cards like Level Eater are at times added as well. Get the basic idea? Well, this is even better than Treeborn. So no. Add the last part I said.
ragnarok1945
just freezing a monster like that is a bit boring you could have at least said it can't activate its effects unless your opponent pays like 1000 LP or something 7/

I see. If what you said is true, you looked at Caius, then at this, and didn't think this will do anything even remotely overpowered. Learn. infinitysqrd
You don't need the Type after Spellcaster. This card would work wonders in anti-meta decks. If you put Once per turn before "Select a monster" you've got a great stall card. Overall I like it.

(I hated the synchros and quit)
thats what happened to me, except synchros weren't even out when i quit lol... anyway, on topic: First off, it's just "Spellcaster"... not "Spellcaster-Type" as you have it. You NEED "Spellcaster-Type" for the card's Lore (description), just not the Type
This monster cannot be destroyed as a result of battle. If this card is in your graveyard during your Standby-Phase, it is Special Summoned to the field in attack mode. Select a monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the selected monster cannot be tributed and may not attack or change positions. when the selected monster is destroyed, your opponent may draw a card.
^^^ That's what you have. What you should have is: This card cannot be destroyed by battle. During your Standby Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard: You can Special Summon it to the field in Attack Position. Once per turn: Select a monster your opponent controls. As long as this card is face-up on the field: The selected monster cannot be Tributed; it cannot attack or change positions. When the selected monster is destroyed, your opponent must draw 1 card. (keep in mind, im not the master of OCG, i just feel i know how to point out the basics) I feel that this card is balanced, but that's just me... Get info from what everyone else is saying. And may I add this side note: I remember seeing this card on the front page of this section of the forum with 0 posts... a few mins later, its basically a Hot Topic

◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
Wait, Pain, when was Treeborn placed back at 3? Are you kidding me? Ewwww...... And nah, OCG should look more like: "This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card exists in your Graveyard during your Standby Phase, you can Special Summon it in Attack Position. Select 1 face-up monster on the field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the selected monster cannot be Tributed, and cannot declare an attack or change its battle position. When the selected monster is destroyed, your opponent draws 1 card." I like the card, but yeah, 6 Treeborns is like feeding Monarchs an Ice Cream Sandwich..... Cheap, yet delicious. I'd say it's too overpowered.... That's my opinion. Get rid of the banishing two cards..... :/
Ieyasu Tokugawa
You can just edit the first post instead of posting the card again. And also, just putting "This monster cannot be tributed." At the end of the effect will make any arguements about this card being OP'd stop.
