[MTG] Artifacts(?)

My First MTG deck. I still am a pretty awful newb, and I'm playtesting this through Cockatrice, so if anything seems too expensive and whatnot...(Gatherer doesn't really seem to be working for me, so apologies 'bout that, too.)

(66)

16 Creatures

Etched Champion x4
Puresteel Paladin x4
Glint Hawk x4
Solemn Simulacrum x4

24 Spells

Accorder's Shield x4
Mox Opal x4
Sylvok Lifestaff x2
Trusty Machete x1
Sword of Feast and Famine x1
Sword of War and Peace x1

Dispatch x3
Surgical Extraction x2
Apostle's Blessing x2
Go for the Throat x2

Gitaxian Probe x2

4 Planeswalker

Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas

22 Lands

11 Plains
3 Glacial Fortress
5 Swamp
3 Island
1 Buried Ruin

-------------

Essentially, I'm just trying to wreck face with the Etched Champions, employing the Accorder's Shields and taking advantage of the 0-Cost Equip that the Paladin gives me. Glint Hawk helps at speeding up both mana(by letting me re-use Mox Opals), or giving me a bit more draw(by letting me re-play the Shields w/Pally on the field). Tezzeret speeds up the deck, and gives me the finishing blow (or gives me a fighting chance).

All that is just newbie opinion, however. any help on it is really appreciated. <_<

(Edited deck with a new version. hopefully this one's better...or worse, hehe. D:)

You are running 19 Plains for lands, and yet you have plenty of black spells. I suggest some Drowned Catacombs or Darkslick Shores. Maybe
-8 Plains
+4 Catacombs
+4 Darkslick

If you can't afford that, just replace the special lands with 5x Swamp and 3x Island.

Thanks for replying. =)

That does sound like a good idea, and I'll try that. however, something else that's been bothering me is the "High" deck count. coming from YGO, bumping the minimum limit always seems like a bad idea...but I'm kinda new to Magic, so perhaps this factor is more...lenient. D:

Is the deck count good as it is?...
